Tsavo National Park East

3 Hour Drive Meals: Lunch & Dinner 7:00 am – We’ll start early to pack in lots of safari action on our first day. Your Africa Kenya Safaris driver/guide will swing by to start the tour. Hop into your private 4 x 4 Land Cruiser Jeep to begin your adventure along the Mombasa-Nairobi Highway. Along our route, we’ll be treated to the splendor of an African sunrise breaking over the passing fields. In about three hours we’ll arrive at Tsavo East National Park, home to the legendary Tsavo lions and herds of red-dusted elephants. Kenya’s largest park stretches out to the horizon and we’ll head over to the most active watering holes for some rich wildlife sighting. The Aruba Dam and Kanderi marshes attract great numbers of thirsty wildlife so we should spot a good variety of game. Look for eland, hartebeest, mongoose, duiker, as well as the larger species. We’ll enjoy lunch and then journey over to Taita Hills for more game viewing

Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary

Meals: Breakfast & Lunch Let’s rise early to maximize our safari time. We’ll take an early game drive to watch the hills, fields, and forests come alive with light and wildlife. Then we’ll head back to our accommodation for breakfast, sharing tales of our safari sightings. Another game drive will round out the morning at this special reserve before we head back to the coast. We’ll stop for lunch on our way and arrive at the coast and Diani in the late afternoon/early evening. Who could imagine so much wildlife just a few hours from your seaside resort?
