Embark on an exciting drive from Mekele to explore the remarkable churches of Tigray, including a visit to the stunning h church. This church is renowned for its dramatic cliffside location and exquisite 15th-century wall paintings, featuring a dome that depicts the Nine Saints, who played a pivotal role in spreading Christianity throughout Ethiopia. After our visit, we will return to Hawzen for lunch. In the afternoon, we will continue our journey to the extraordinary Maryam Korkor and Daniel Korkor churches, both known for their breathtaking landscapes and intricate interior paintings.

After breakfast, we will depart from Gheralta around 10:00 AM and drive to the remarkable Aberha Weatsbeha Rock Church, which dates back to the 4th century. This church is celebrated for its stunning architecture and intricate paintings. Following our visit, we will continue to the Wukro rock churches, known for their semi-monolithic design and rich architectural features. We will enjoy lunch in Wukro town before proceeding to Mekelle. Once in Mekelle, you will have ample time to relax and prepare for your flight from Mekelle to Addis Ababa.
