The following day, explore two of Meteora’s beguiling cliff-top monasteries before making the journey back to Athens.

A dress code is required to monasteries. No shorts or sleeveless tops allowed. Knees and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women. You may risk refused entry if you fail to comply with these dress requirements

4.00They handle all the logistics and driving. The attractions are 1.5 hour at Delphi (no Delphi museum), 15 minutes at Leonidas’ monument and about 3 hours in three monasteries in meteora. The rest of the time is driving/eating. The three monasteries we visited did not require climbing up (two were drive up and one was descending stairs in and out and the bus picked us up at the bottom) Note that they stay at their network hotel (Amalia) which is not actually in kalabaka.

4.00Amazing place to see. It is a world class site. I would do some research before going as the history is fascinating. Be aware of heights and have good walking shoes.

5.00a day in Delphi, great! + entrance tickets. 1 coffee/wc stop before visiting the site. More than 2 hours on site, stop restaurant and return, 18h in Athens!!without worries, we let ourselves be guided.

5.00Hotel was very nice, although not in the town of Kalambaka. Guide was very informative and did not rush us in the sites visited. Both Delphi and Meteora are definitely worth the long bus ride.
