Meet up your friendly private guide in the morning, and depart from your Shanghai hotel Shanghai Train Station in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle to start your 2-day comprehensive tour.
Humble Administrator's Garden
Head up to beautiful Suzhou and visit to the famous Humble Administrator's Garden. Spend your relax morning strolling around the ancient house with delicate pavilions, corridors, ponds, rockeries, walkways and lush green trees. Enjoy the picturesque view and hear the rich history from your professional guide. Sitting in the pavilion beside the pond, feel like stepping back in history.
Pingjiang Road
From Humble Administrator's Garden, you will visit the Pingjiang Road, which is a beautiful historic street beside the canal. You will take a walk or private rickshaw along the historic Pingjiang Road, where the driver will take you up and down old streets to see the lifestyle of people and the district. Refuel with a traditional Chinese lunch on Pingjiang Road.
Panmen Gate
You will then head to the Panmen Gate. It is claimed to be the oldest ancient water and land gate in the world for the purpose of defense against enemy armies. You will wander around the park see the well-maintained gate all as well as the pagodas.
Suzhou Ancient Grand Canal
From Panmen Gate (or pick one from Tiger Hill and others), then enjoy a relaxing boat trip on the old Grand Canal. The ancient households and the old city gate wall are along the riverside, and you will immerse yourself in the atmosphere of old times lifestyle and appreciate the charms of old China.
Shantang Street
Then head to Shantang street. Spend your relax time sitting beside the river, enjoy the beautiful view of old bridge, traditional houses. Taste some local snacks or enjoy the local Pingtan music if you like. If you want visit some other attractions, feel free discussing with your guide, lease feel free to discuss with your guide.Some suggested alternative options for your reference in below: 1) HIGER HILL 2) HAN SHAN TEMPLE 3) MASTER OF NET GARDEN 4) LINGERING GARDEN 5) SILK MUSUEM OR FACTORY When tour is finished, you will take bullet train back to Shanghai city.

Meet your private guide at your hotel lobby in the morning, and head up to Hangzhou City by taking a 1-hour bullet train ride. On the train, discuss your Hangzhou things-to-do list with your guide. Of course, your knowledgeable guide will give you some suggestions, and he or she will customize your day based on your needs and interests. Below literary is just an example for you.
West Lake (Xi Hu)
Typically, you will visit West Lake firstly, see the beautiful lake view surrounded by mountains, old pavilions, shaded trees, lotus flowers and small bridges. Enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the lake and learn the history and popular folklore from your guide.
Longjing tea fields
Then, move on to Meijiawu or Longjing Tea Village to enjoy your tasty tea plantation lunch and tea tasting. In addition, you will walk into the tea farm, and see the tea plants. Your guide will share with you the Chinese tea culture, related history and how to make good tea when your return back home.
Lingyin Temple
Continue your tour to visit one of the top ten most famous ancient Buddhist monasteries in China (built in 326AD), which contains numerous pagodas and Buddhist grottoes. See the Fei Lei Feng (Peak Flown from Afar) inside of the temple. Enjoy the picturesque view of nature surroundings and learn the fascinating religious culture from your knowledgeable guide. If you have been to Hangzhou before, and wish to visit some other attractions this time, please feel free to discuss with your guide. Some suggested alternative options for your reference in below: 1. Meijiawu Tea Village 2. Hefang Street 3. Leifeng Pagoda 4. Yuewang Temple 5. Liuhe Pagoda When your tour is finished, you will take the bullet train to return back to Shanghai city.

5.00Review: 2-Day Unlimited Private Trip to Suzhou and Hangzhou by Bullet Train from Shanghai My family and I had an absolutely enjoyable time on our 2-day tour. The tour manager, Alana from Amazing Shanghai Trip uses What App to communicate with us and responded to our enquiry even after office hours. She was exceptionally organized. She met us at our hotel, accompanied us to the Shanghai train station, and traveled with us to Suzhou, where she personally introduced us to our guide, Cindy. In Suzhou, Cindy was warm, helpful, and very knowledgeable about the city’s history and culture. We appreciated having the choice of lunch options—either noodles or rice with dishes. She brought us to a local restaurant frequented by residents, where we enjoyed a delicious bowl of noodles in a truly authentic setting. For the Hangzhou tour, we were picked up from our hotel at Shanghai and met our guide, Kimi, at the Hongqiao train station. Kimi stayed with us from Hongqiao high-speed train station all the way to Hangzhou and back. Just like Cindy, Kimi was both knowledgeable and caring, and his excellent English made communication easy and enjoyable. He also brought us to a local restaurant where we could choose the menu ourselves, and his recommendations were spot-on—every dish was delicious. Our drivers were equally professional, patient, and accommodating. All the cars were clean and comfortable, and they drove with care. On our return to Shanghai train stations from Suzhou and Hangzhou, we asked to be dropped off at 1000 Thousand Trees shopping mall and the Bund respectively, and the drivers happily obliged. We truly enjoyed both tours because everything was so well-planned and well-organized. The seamless arrangements meant no wasted time, and we felt completely at ease throughout the trip. This was a memorable and worry-free experience that we would gladly recommend to others.

5.00Xin was our guide in Shanghai. Tracy was our guide in Suzhou. Lin was our guide in Hangzhou. All three were great at what they do, very attentive and knowledgeable of the cities, history and culture. The experience was amazing. We covered a lot in two days. I highly recommend this tour.

5.00What an absolute treat! Thank you so much to Alana and Queena for being amazing guides. Having spent the week in meetings in Shanghai, I wanted to do something other worldly. Both Alana and Queena brought out the romanticism of both Hangzhou and Suzhou. Thanks to them I learnt so much about the legends and history surrounding both cities. I've come away with incredible memories and a real insight into the philosophy and spirituality of China. 5.00Great trip to Hangszhou and Suzhou with efficient, smart and sweet Queena. We chose to spend the night in Hangzhou and it was fine. Wonderful Humble administrator's Garden, there can be a queue in an hour. The train rides with the Bullettrain were a bit tiring, you have to show your passport 3 times and scan everything and be body searched, but we got help with everything, a huge advantage with a Chinese-speaking guide, she speaks really good English. Nice ride on Westlake. All in all, it was a wonderful trip. Choose this tour, best recommendation.

5.00We took this two-day tour in the surroundings of Shanghai, which I strongly recommend. We could visit a part of China full of beautiful scenery. In Hangzhou we visited the West Lake and the Tea plantation. Both places were amazing. In Suzhou we visited the beautiful water village of Zhouzhuang. We couldn’t stop taking pictures! Since we are a family of six, with young children, it was very convenient to have the bullet train tickets already purchased, and the transfer picking us up at every station. Without this guided tour, this trip would not had been possible. Daisy, our guide, was all the time supportive and took good care of us. She was flexible, and open all the time to our needs and wishes. Thank you so much!!
