You will start your trip by driving from Kampala to Lake Mburo National Park, which takes about 4-5 hours. On the way, you will stop at the Uganda Equator, a special line that divides the Earth into the northern and southern halves. Here, you can stand with one foot in each half, take pictures, and watch how water spins differently on each side of the line. You can also visit small shops to buy local crafts. After this stop, you will continue to your lodge. Later, you will go on an evening game drive to see animals like zebras, impalas, buffaloes, warthogs, and maybe even leopards or hyenas. On the second day, after breakfast, you will choose to either ride a bike on special paths in the park or take a guided walk with a ranger. Both ways let you get close to animals like giraffes, zebras, and antelopes while learning about the plants and animals around you. After the morning activity, you will return to the lodge for lunch and then start the drive back to Entebbe or Kampala

Lake Mburo National Park
After an early breakfast, you will explore the park in a more active and exciting way by choosing either a cycling safari or a guided nature walk. If you choose the cycling safari, you will ride a bicycle along special tracks inside the park, led by a trained park ranger. This activity allows you to quietly ride near animals like giraffes, zebras, impalas, and other antelopes, while enjoying the peaceful sights and sounds of the wild. If you prefer walking, the guided nature walk is done on foot with a ranger who will lead you through the park and teach you about the plants, animals, animal tracks, and birds you see along the way. This calm and quiet experience helps you feel close to nature without disturbing the wildlife. After your morning activity, you will return to the lodge for lunch, and then begin the drive back to Kampala or Entebbe, arriving in the evening with beautiful memories from your time in Lake Mburo National Park.

It was a great time during the two days at Lake Mburo NP. On our way to the park we stopped at the equator to get the effects of changing from one hemisphere to the other one shown. Even before entering the park we could see the first zebras. Then in the park the walking safari was great because the ranger made it possible that you can walk just next to giraffes. The night game drive was fun although you are not seeing as many animals as during the night because there is only the rangers spotlight. We were happy because we got the chance to see a whole herd of hyenas. The cycling safari the next morning was wonderful. You are just riding in the middle of antelopes, zebras, warthogs or giraffes. Also the stay at Rwakobo Rock was beautiful with its cottages and of course the nice view from the hill.
