Our group is small with max 10 people on the hiking and plankton bioluminescent night kayak, around 25 people on the boat the 2nd day.

11:15 Pick up from hotel in Cat Ba town 11:20 Board the boat and begin your cruise through the stunning Lan Ha Bay.

12:00 Enjoy a freshly prepared Vietnamese lunch onboard, lovingly cooked by our local crew (vegetarian options available). 14:30 Discover the lagoon area of Lan Ha Bay by kayaking. There are the most stunning lagoon in Lan Ha Bay for kayaking and a conservation area. (The location may change depending on the tides) 16:30 | Stop at Ba Trai Dao Beach for swimming and jumping from the boat. This beach is remote, quiet, and less touristy—ideal for discovering temple beaches, hidden lagoons, and scenic rock arches. 17:30 | Visit a local floating fish farm to learn how fishermen live and work on the water. Join a hands-on cooking class onboard, where you'll learn to prepare traditional Vietnamese dishes. Dinner will be served on the boat. 19:30 As the sun sets, experience the enchantment of bioluminescent plankton. Join our guide for a special kayaking session in areas glowing with natural light. You may also swim under the stars and watch your silhouette sparkle in the dark water.

20:00 Arrive at Viet Hai Village. Nestled in the heart of the jungle, this charming village is surrounded by lush forest, towering mountains, and serene natural beauty.

06:30 | Enjoy a hearty breakfast at our restaurant. 07:30 | Hop on a bicycle and cycle around Viet Hai Village. Take in the fresh mountain air, scenic views, and even try a fun fish massage in the natural stream. 08:30 | Check out of your room. We’ll return to Viet Hai Pier and set sail once more toward Monkey Island. 09:30 | Arrive at Monkey Island. Relax and swim on the sandy beach, interact with playful monkeys, or take a short trek up to the island’s viewpoint for a panoramic view of Lan Ha Bay. 10:30 | Lunch is served onboard as we cruise back toward the harbor. 11:30 | Arrive at Cai Beo Harbor.

5.00A good two-day course with wise choices to avoid the crowds. Kayaking, walking on an island, visiting a fish farm, swimming. A group of 18 people on a good boat , excellent meals and the hotel for the night comfortable and in a very nice setting.

5.00Lan Ha Bay was not to be missed. Enjoying it on a small boat with a more intimate experience was something we all enjoyed. And rather than staying on the boat, the Viet Hai Village offered a lush land experience with a great bike tour in the morning. The swim to the caves was very memorable and we left a Cairn along many hundred of others. The only downside was the food so if you're expecting something tasteful and you're wanting that to be an important part of your experience, this might not be for you. It didn't impact our adventure. Also, don't feed the monkeys! They're aggressive. Could have skipped monkey island all together!

5.00It was enchantingly beautiful. It was challenging. (Being fit is nice with the excursions!) Unique experience. We've seen and experienced so much. From climbing to dark kayaking in a deserted bay, to monkey spotting, to petting 50kg of heavy fish. Sleeping in LAN’s homestay: like driving into paradise in an electric golf cart, you never want to leave. An&Hannah zijn super gidsen.

5.00We had an incredible time on our Lan Ha Bay trip. The whole tour was so well organised. We didn’t have to worry about a thing. The night kayaking and the day spent on the boat were definite highlights, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. It didn't feel too crowded, which made it even more enjoyable. The guides were fantastic, friendly, knowledgeable, and always helpful. We wouldn’t change a thing. Highly recommend!

5.00I can see why everyone rates this booking 5 stars. Beka Travel got in touch soon after booking to make sure we didn't need any special accommodations, to offer flexible transportation to and from our hotel in Hanoi, and to give us a single point of contact. Our driver was great, our tour guilds, Thuy and Hana, were first class, and our small resort, Lan Homestay, was cute as a button. For those who want more than just a party boat, this is the perfect booking!

4.00Lovely trip, perfectly co-ordinated and well executed. Everything ran smoothly and the activities are not for the faint hearted. The trek and kayaking was great. The drinks on the boat were also great. The information at times a little long but interesting. The mattress in the huts need upgrading.
