We are a group of 3 older guys who like to visit Battlefields from all eras. We have seldom come across such a professional Company as Olive Sea Tours. From the organisation (thank you Gianna!), through to execution the team were superb. Our guide, Terry, was top class. He was authoritative, knowledgeable, witty, and most of all great fun. We visited Marathon, Thermopylae, Delphi, Platea, and Salamis. The company provided an extremely comfortable vehicle for us, and Terry was an excellent driver, giving us a very smooth and safe drive throughout our extensive Grecian Odyssey. We learned so much from Terry, and he went the extra mile by bringing us to subsidiary sites which gave us additional insights into the various battles. He even arranged a “bonus” for us involving a ferry trip over to Salamis, a mini cruise which we loved! All in all we cannot speak highly enough of Terry, he was an exceptional guide and made our trip a huge success.

Our Persian War tour was incredible. We saw everything we wanted to see and more. Our tour guide, Alex, was friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. We loved that he had the perfect balance of giving us all the information we needed without feeling the need to talk non-stop to fill any moments of quiet. If you're thinking of going on this tour and want to learn more about the history of the wars, don't hesitate to book it and request Alex if you can!
