Durres

We leave Tirana behind and drive to Durres, one of the Albania’s oldest cities, which lies in a small peninsula on the coat of Adriatic. Here we visit the Roman Amphitheater, built in 2nd century B.C. The Fortress in Durres which was built in the sixth century, Roma Thermal Baths and the Archaeological Museum, with an excellent collection of objects excavated from Durres.

Fushe Kruje

We drive to the historic city of Kruja but first we will stop to Fushe -Kruja. In 2007 George W Bush has visited Albania and after a historic speech he stopped to drink a coffee in one of the bars of this small town and the owner changed his name from the old name in George Bush coffee shop.

Kruje

Then we will drive to Kruja. In the 15th century, Kruja was the symbol of the resistance against the Turks, under the leadership of Scanderbeg, who with a small army successfully ousted Turks. We will visit Fortress of Scanderbeg, Old Bazaar of Kruja, Skanderbeg Museum. Overnight in Kruja

Shkoder

After breakfast we drive to Shkodra. Known for its culture, tradition, and natural beauty, this city offers a diversity that is rarely found in any other city in Albania with rivers, lakes, lagoons, and mountains which make Shkodra an unforgettable destination in Albania. Built on a rocky hill overlooking the city by the rivers of Buna and Drini, you will find the most important monument of Shkoder, The Castle of Rozafa. After visiting the Castle area you will have the chance to explore the Leaden Mosque and Catholic Church and notice the diverse religious elements and architecture. Then we will visit the famous Viennese mask factory which is located near the city of Shkodra. The Venetian masks made in Shkodra are all crafted by hand.The masks have intricate details, bright colors, fancy feathers, gold leaf, and crystals that make them unique pieces of art. The masks are exported all over the world and sold in six shops in Venice.

Fishte

"Mrizi i Zanave" is a restaurant and agritourism center in Fishta, near Lezha. But it is a place where tourists and citizens from all over the world go to the restaurant "Mrizi i Zanave" in Lezha. An amazing place, but above all with the best cooking. With an extremely quality service culture. After lunch we will drive back to Tirana.
