Yala National Park
This is the country’s second largest and most famous National park for locals and foreigners alike. Situated on the south-East coast of Sri Land it has an area of over 375 square miles. It is made up of five blocks of which two are open to visitors. The Ruhuna national Park and the Kumana bird sanctuary.These two parks are most important for conservation . It has a variety of eco systems ranging from moist monsoon forest to scrub jungle, fresh water wetlands ,and saltwater lagoon and marshlands. It is well stocked with a variety of wild life and is an important conservatory for Elephants ,leopards and Birds. It is known as the area with the highest density of leopard population in the world. Visitors can take a safari trip in the park which is an unforgettable experience. Within the park there are ancient monasteries ,which add to the parks attractions.

Udawalawe National Park
Framed by soaring highlands on its northern boundary, the Udawalawe National Park is one of the world's best places to see wild elephants. Largely comprised of grasslands and bush forest, it's also one of the best national parks in Sri Lanka for game spotting.
Elephant Transit Home (ETH)
The Udawalawe Elephant Transfer Home is a facility within Udawalawe National Park in Sri Lanka that was established in 1995 by the Sri Lanka Department of Wildlife Conservation. Its primary objective is to rehabilitate orphaned elephant calves for ultimate release back into the wild.
Sri Sankapala Raja Maha Viharaya
Sankapala Raja Maha Viharaya stands majestically on a rocky mountain as ample evidence to prove that this temple has been blessed by the saintly monks who spent their time in peaceful meditation. Brahamin inscriptions cared beneath the dripledges (“Katarama” in Sinhalese) of the rock dating back to a period of even before the birth of Christ is ample evidence to prove the existence of a monastery.

5.00We had two wonderful days. Pick-up, driver and car were very good. Both Safari tours were very good. Nice guides, free water and lots of animals. Good to know about is that there are VERY bumpy roads :) The hotel that was booked was wonderful and there we ate the best food of the trip so far. In short; we are very satisfied.
Best 2 days ever. Worth every penny.

5.002 day trip was so well planned. Great communication with Sam over email and WhatsApp. Ishan, our driver, was friendly and helpful. Often stopping to point out things along the road such as elephants and monkeys. We saw loads of wildlife on Yala safari including elephants and we were lucky enough to see 2 leopards (from a distance). Guide was great at pointing things out and stopped for as long as we needed to take photos. The journey in the safari jeep was bumpy but added to the whole experience. Overnight stay was in a lovely small hotel with very friendly staff. Meals both days were tasty with lots of choice. Udawalawe Safari was also magical. Saw many elephants including babies. Guide there also stopped lots of times for photos and to point out other birds and animals. The Elephant Transit Home was a short stop to see them being fed. Some funny moments when greedy elephants wanted 2nd helpings and staff had to chase them away. Great photo opportunities. We also had a stop at the Turtle Hatchery in Bentoto added to the trip. Got there in time for a quick tour and then to release day-old turtles into the sea. Once-in-a-lifetime experience. I can't thank Bentoto Travel Mart enough for this magical trip. Will recommend to all of my friends. Thank you to Ishan and Sam

5.00All in all it was a very good decision to book the 2 day program. The food was great you always had to drink and the places were all super friendly and helpful. The safaris in themselves were also great had good luck seeing all the animals. Can only recommend!!

5.00We were blown away by how excellent the 2 day safari trip was. Everything was so well-organised, professional and stress-free. On day 1, our driver picked us up from our hotel and drove us near to Yala, where we had lunch. Visiting Yala was an incredible experience, which we thoroughly enjoyed, despite the rain. We managed to see most of the animals and even got a rare sighting of an elusive leopard, high up on a tree. We stayed at a beautiful boutique hotel and then visited Udawalawa, which was absolutely breathtaking. Seeing all the water buffalos and elephants was such a surreal and magical moment. Thank you to Sam, the trip organiser, who displayed excellent communication, and our driver, Ishan. A five-star experience.

The service received from Bentota Travel Mart was first class and our driver was really friendly, knowledgeable and very easy to get along with. We were collected from and returned to our hotel and the whole experience was brilliant. Book it!! You will not be disappointed.

5.00The private tour that Bentota Travel organized for my wife and for me could not have been better!!! Everything was perfect and the best thing was the luck we had to have Raveen as our permanent driver and guide. He is really spectacular! Also the efficient and instant response from Sam Perera to all our requests and changes during the trip helped to have a remarkable experience in Sri Lanka. I highly recommend him and Bentota Travel Mart if you visit Sri Lanka.

5.00This was a really enjoyable 2 days. Firstly Yala, this was vibrant and fun and our driver was keen to ensure that we saw everything possible. We even managed to see the ever elusive leopards. We then stayed in a fabulous lodge in Yala, which was beautiful and much better than I had expected!! The next day we drove to Udawalawe, this was a very different safari. It was more gentle and educational. Both were equally wonderful, just very different. We are very grateful to Bentota Travel Mart for looking after us so well, and especially Janith for always keeping us safe and making us laugh.
Great organisation and went over and above to make us happy!

5.00From start to finish great communication and a commitment to provide the experience we needed. Both safaris, baby elephant feeding, hotel all organised well and met expectations. The drivers were very considerate and provided plenty of water, king coconuts and face masks.
