Ride with the beautiful horses and Visit Gros-Islet in a unique and unforgettable way on horseback. You'll see spectacular views of St. Lucian coast from horseback.
This activity is suitable for both first time and experienced riders with the choice of morning or afternoon departure and you'll be shown around by the friendly local tour guides who have a pure love for the horses.
This experience takes you up to Pigeon Pointe Beach where you can take photos and videos of the beautiful scenery. Your guides will tell you everything you need to know. We then take a stroll along the beach before heading back to the starting point. Tours are at times accompanied by the horses' sweet foals and Delwin's loving dog, Silver.

What To Expect
After meeting Delwin and the tour guides at the starting point with the horses, we will start the ride which takes you through the magnificent villas of lower Cap Estate and along mesmerizing views of the St Lucian coast. This ride is perfect for first time or less experienced riders as it gives you a glimpse into life on horseback! Also, a good choice if you're looking for a traditional St. Lucian activity to start or finish your day.

5.00I have done trail riding on many diff vacas and this was by far my best experience! It was the best part of my whole trip! It was my fiancés first time on a horse and he was very comfortable with his horse. Delwin was fun and informative and laid back, a great photographer and his love for his horses shows! They are beautiful and healthy and happy! Oh and can’t forget his sidekick silver the doggy that tagged along!

5.00This was the absolute highlight of my trip during our week-long vacation in St. Lucia. For 2 hours, this trip took us not only along grassy areas with sea views but also onto the beach while riding the horses in the water. My horse was named Nancy and knew the long route inside out. Truly a scenic ride and hands down my favourite memory in St Lucia. On top of that, the tour operator picked us up and dropped us off at our accommodation, and our guide took plenty of photos for us. If you're going to St Lucia, this is an amazing way to experience the wonderful views on the island and I cannot recommend Dore's Riding Stables highly enough!

5.00Beautiful morning with the crew from Dore’s Riding Stables! Delwin went above and beyond to make my birthday bucket list adventure happen! He set us up with transportation from our hotel, 2 beautiful horses and expert guides Al and Juan and their assistant Dante. We rode a short distance to Pigeon Island, with some history and local facts thrown in, for a ride through the field and along the beach. After a short rest on the beach, the horses took us for a swim! An experience like no other on this beautiful stretch of beach!

5.00Horses are so well-looked after and obviously very loved. It's run by local people who really know what they're doing (rather than out of the resorts which don't give enough money to local people) and are very helpful and lovely. It was an absolutely beautiful ride and I felt very comfortable on the horse (having only ridden once before, years ago) thanks to their brilliant and calm handling of the horses. The ride in the sea was the best thing about my holiday, I thoroughly recommend this.
