Swim with the beautiful horses! You'll see spectacular views of St. Lucian coast from horseback and this ride is suitable for both first time and experienced riders. Be shown around by our friendly local tour guides who have a pure love for our horses and ride into the sunset!
This tour takes you to the popular and beautiful Pigeon Pointe or Emerald Bay beach followed by a brief tour around Gros Islet village and stopping for refreshments at a local bar. Enjoy a refreshing swim with the horses and a breathtaking view of the sun setting over the sea. Tours are at times accompanied by the horses' sweet foals and Delwin's loving dog, Silver.

What To Expect
After meeting Delwin and the horses at the meeting point, you will begin your sunset tour that takes you through the magnificent villas of lower Cap Estate and along mesmerising views of the St Lucian coast to the popular Pigeon Pointe or Emerald Bay beach followed by a brief tour around Gros Islet village before stopping for refreshments. Enjoy a refreshing swim with the horses and a breathtaking view of the sun setting over the sea. We will then ride back to the starting point where the tour will end.

5.00Dore’s has incredible staff that go out of their way at every moment for their customers and animals. They accommodate all skill levels and give you exactly what you need to have the best time, no matter how hands-on or hands-off they need to be. It is very clear that they take great care of their animals as well. Their sunset riding tour was exactly as advertised (honestly we got even more out of it than expected), and their prices are extremely reasonable as well. I cannot recommend them enough for anyone looking to have a great experience on the island, no matter your skill level!!

5.00Definitely book this sunset ride!! Or any horseback ride with Dore's Riding Stables. The horses are very well cared for and sweet mannered. Delwin and Stan were personable and their dog Silver was a good companion on the ride. Getting to ride bareback into the sea was a cool experience and one we won't forget! Worth it for sure.

Delwin was a lovely chap and a great host - do not leave the island without trying this - we will be back again when we next stay in our house on the island

5.00I’ve been on many horse riding experiences/tours over the years but DORES was just the best Highly professional, Delon made the experience safe and fun Nancy was an amazing horse, we went through trails, the beach and ended in the ocean on bareback which was just superb- refreshments on the way home Thank you ! Met us right near our resort (Royalton Saint Lucia) and took us along paths, beaches, stopped for a refreshment, and were given the option to ride in the ocean at sunset - an absolutely incredible experience!!
