You MUST arrive 15 minutes prior to boarding to check in. We leave promptly at the scheduled time and cannot wait. When booking travel to the island please make sure to give enough time from arrival to island to get to tour departure location.
We are located on Catalina Island, You must secure transportation to the island to take the tour. There are no refunds if you miss the tour.
TRAVEL TO CATALINA IS NOT INCLUDED. Transportation needed by Ferry to Island.
We cannot accommodate children under 5 years of age.

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

What To Expect
Catalina Island
As you venture ten miles into the rugged interior, you will view the protected side of Catalina Island seldom seen by most visitors. Have the chance to encounter wildlife such as bison, deer, bald eagles, ravens, or even the Catalina Island fox. There is a photo opportunity around every turn as we climb to the Airport-in-the-Sky. At this stop, visit the Nature Center and peer down at one of Catalina’s original Native American gathering sites. The fee to the Catalina Island Conservancy directly supports the preservation of the animals, endangered species, and endemic plants on Catalina Island. Tours leave from The Cabrillo Mole. **we highly suggest you secure transportation to Catalina island prior to booking tour to confirm you can get to the tour as the boat to the island sells out quickly. Catalina Express or Newport Flyer for your transportation needs.

4.00Be prepared for a bumpy ride up the mountain. But you get a great view when you are up there. The guides are very knowledgeable and helpful with lots of information on the way. We were lucky enough to see some Bison and Deer and enjoyed the stop off at the airport.

5.00I haven’t been to Catalina in about 15 years so this tour was great with Sergio the guide having so much knowledge of the island and it was my husbands first time at Catalina so he enjoyed the tour as well.

5.00The ride is very bumpy( which is explained in the description), but fun and informative. Our navigator Sergio was wonderful and funny.

3.00It is way overpriced and not worth the money. The guide, Sal, gave us lots of interesting information for the first half of the tour, but then only played music for the second half. The only bison that we encountered were way across on the other side of a valley, so far away that you could not tell that they were bison at all. We had to take the guide's word for it. We did not encounter any other wildlife. The ride was somewhat bumpy, but nothing horrible. But it was absolutely freezing cold up in the mountains.
