What To Expect
This is a professional mountain bike skills coaching session. Bike Included. We will cover a wide range of foundation skills which are where the biggest gains are for every level of rider, beginner to pro. We will make use of Gap Creek's Skills park and trails. Bike Set up and Tips Staying in Flow State Obstacles Smoothness Cornering Training Approaches As well as several other points such as foot position, hand position, your personal habits, braking, the list goes on. Meeting time arranged during via email.

5.00Initially hesitant to sign up for a coaching session when I thought I just wanted to ride, but after quickly being humbled with respect I have a profound appreciation for the lessons that were shared. From fundamental mtb techniques such as balance, track stance to Cornering and jumping. It was fun, mentally and physically challenging. Would not hesitate to recommend any one of near any skill level that is out in Brisbane to swing by and give Forbes MTB a try.

5.00We joined the mountain bike experience as a family of four. My husband and oldest son are huge MTB fans, but my younger son and I were a bit nervous since we aren't as experienced. However, the instructors were amazing—they kept a close eye on everyone’s level and provided great support on the tricky paths, so we felt completely safe. It’s not often you get a professional MTB lesson, so it was a truly valuable experience for us. Plus, they took so many cool photos of us in action! We highly recommend this to any family looking for a special outdoor memory.

5.00My 12 year old son absolutely loved his solo session with Ben! As he is new to MTB it was a great way for him to feel more comfortable and supported which has led to him being out on the trails frequently and doing subsequent group sessions with Ben. I can't speak highly enough of Ben - he is a great role model for the kids. Not only is he sensible, super friendly and knowledgeable he teaches the kids track etiquette so they know what is acceptable when they are out and about. Just a great experience all round. Will definitely be going back for more sessions .

5.00We were so happy to find this option to hire bikes and a guide when we were visiting Brisbane. Our experience was excellent. Ben met us at the trailhead with the bikes, made sure they were adjusted for us and had helmets and gloves for us, too. The session started with a short period of skills and then we rode a selection of trails targeted to our ability and preference. Ben is patient and flexible and we really enjoyed our ride at Gap Creek.

5.00Great bikes, super helpful with pick-ups and drop offs and perfect level of tuition vs fun. My hubby and Son had a ripper of a morning, unfortunately we're now coping a constant reminder about how our son needs to upgrade his bike!! 😂 Thanks to Ben and John.
