Children and adults alike will be fascinated by the tour of the ageing cellars, workshops, robots and automatons that use "the traditional method". We booked a tour and tasting to understand the differences between the Champagne making process and the Cremant process. Our self guided tour with headphones in our language was very informative and we accomplished our objective. The tasting was great. They have a huge assortment of different Cremants. We were able to taste the ones we wanted. Our host was quite entertaining and hospitable. We had a great time. At a cost of only $10 per person, this tour is worthwhile. I would strongly recommend.

We visited the vinery yesterday and had a great time. The tour was very informative and really interesting to see the different parts of the wine process. After the tour we went back to the shop where the tasting took place. The tasting was a great experience and the staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. Would definitely recommend going there

Very informative audio tour of how this winery and their sparkling wine came to be. Tastings were good but not being a sparkling wine aficionado I found it hard to differentiate them. It is NOT in Beaune central and we had to take an Uber to get there

The tour is self driven with headphones so the tour can be as short or long as you like. usually takes 1hr. Great value for money.

Visit under helmet, too bad. Unfortunately, the workshops were under maintenance and therefore stopped. We were not able to actually see how it worked. False communication advertising following the tasting. We found the same products (same packaging, etc.) in supermarkets for less, although this was not what the staff present told us. Tourist scam we fell into.

We had booked a tour with tasting of cremants as part of our stay in Beaune via tripadvisor.de at Veuve Ambal. After parking on the large company premises, we presented our booking code to the reception office. The tour began punctually at the booked time at 2.30 pm: An employee of the house led us up a flight of stairs in the building, from where we could follow the entire production process - including the packaging of the cream - via a circular route. On this itinerary, text and images in French, English and German were used to inform about sparkling wine in Burgundy and specifically about the history and fortunes of Veuve Ambal. But what was really great was that you also got this information using an audio-gate device - in our case in German. At the end of our visit we had a tasting of several crèmes. The conversation in the salesroom was conducted in English, there was no special sales pressure. We made a small purchase.
