As we pass by, look up and you'll see the remarkable Portland Aerial Tram soaring above. This modern marvel connects the bustling South Waterfront district with the main Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) campus on Marquam Hill. One of only two commuter aerial tramways in the United States, along with New York City's Roosevelt Island Tramway, it offers a unique and breathtaking perspective of the city. Watching the sleek tram cabins glide effortlessly through the sky, you'll feel a sense of wonder at this engineering feat. It's an exciting glimpse into Portland's innovative spirit and a visual treat on our boat tour.

Captain Charles is pleasant, knowledgeable and low key. The scenery is beautiful and the history is interesting and his commentary enhances the experience without overpowering it.

We had an amazing time on the Sunset River Cruise! The guide was both knowledgeable and entertaining, and the boat’s amenities kept us warm and comfortable throughout the trip. As a bonus, we even got to spot some sea lions!

When in Bridge City take the Bridge Tour. Also, take time to read that this is a BYIOB trip. Bring food and or drinks and sit back and enjoy the wildlife and the extremely impressive details on each bridge. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly, you just can’t beat that.

The whole experience was great. Easy to locate and fast departure. Once we were out in the area for views, the captain was very informative and professional. Great time with family and coworkers.

This venue is great for a family. Similar to taking a carriage ride … but obviously on water. Our guide Dominic was extremely friendly and extremely knowledgeable about Portland and its history. We even got a good view of some sea lions. Congrats on the wedding engagement Dominic. 👍

I loved that it was a casual tour with a touch of sophistication. My 7-yr old grandson and I had a great time on the Sunset River Cruise on the Willamette River with Captain Nate, who was very knowledgeable and who did a fantastic job of entertaining and engaging my grandson James. He gave James the job of “lookout” (for floating logs) and answered a million of James’s questions (including about depth-finders work). Much thanks to all!!

Such a great outing, and a different way to experience Portland! Captain Steve and Captain Charles are fantastic, the whole thing was easy to set up and comfortable. I would highly recommend. Next time I have family visiting I plan on taking them on one of these tours. Would be great for any occasion or celebration.

Wonderful tour, with Captain Charles and Captain Dominic. My son and I reserved a Shared cruise tour and entire team and specially Captain, Dominic, guided us throughout the trip and provided fun facts about everything from nature to history to animals. A great activity if you have family in town or you’re just looking to start a new tradition. Highly recommend this experience!!

A lovely time on the river in covered (pontoon style?) boat. Nice seating. We took our own snacks. 5:00 PM tour in summer sunset is prolly 7 or 7:30. If you want to see the sunset and city lights go later. It was bright and clear our whole trip and didn’t rain. Would do it again.
