Excellent experience. This was the highlight of our time in southern Africa. Kalahari tours were professional and well organised. The safari guides were friendly, knowledgable and looked after their guests well. The camp staff prepared the camp well and produced very nice food. We certaily saw many animals, but it was the knowledgeable, relaxed, friendly ,safe approach of the guides wheich really made it special. The guides clearly had a love of the bush and animals. Hioghly recommended.

Our Chobe safari was absolutely incredible from start to finish! Our guide, Six, was truly exceptional — so knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about the wildlife. He went above and beyond to make sure we saw as many animals as possible, from lions and elephants to hippos and rare birds. We always felt safe and comfortable in his care, and his love for nature made every moment even more special. A huge thank you as well to Chef Pete, who spoiled us with the most delicious meals! Every dish was made with care and flavor — the perfect way to refuel after our adventures. His warmth and hospitality made the experience feel like home in the middle of the bush. The entire team made this trip unforgettable. If you’re thinking about a safari in Chobe — don’t hesitate, just go! You’ll be in the best hands with Six and Chef Pete.

We couldn’t have asked for a better trip. Our guide, Six, was truly the best. He was so knowledgeable about the animals, their habits, and how to locate them. Six was also patient and knew when to wait it out to see interesting behavior from the animals. He went above and beyond and made it clear his priority was as many meaningful animal sightings as possible. At camp, we had Chef P who was also incredibly friendly and made excellent meals. This safari was easily the best part of our trip to Southern Africa and I look forward to going again some time in the future.

Would highly recommend. The team, made us feel welcome. Caleb and Ex were very knowledgeable and made sure we saw as many animals and birds as possible. Caleb's knowledge was vast of both animals and fauna, and always had some interesting facts to share.

Lonely Planet was impetus for inquiry at Kalahari - the idea of bush camp was intriguing, and the commentary that guides were more knowledgable than most hooked us. Reaching out via email, Lunza responded immediately and was helpful and professional and made inquiry/booking easy. Fun to finally meet her! Turns out LP was spot on - sleeping IN Chobe NP is a unique experience in many ways. We drifted off to lions' roars and woke to hippo snuffles, took in the southern stars around campfire, and noshed on fabulous vegetarian & meat-based fare and MP's homemade bread. Dinners included fine enough SA red/white wine, and the bush snax and tea service were inventive and welcome! Tents were sturdy and mobile shower/toilet were more than adequate. The show stopper is, of course, the animals, birds and landscapes. Moses, our seasoned and dedicated guide, was uncannily able to make every game drive/river cruise a combo of storytelling, surprises and stellar sightings. He group up on these waters and velds, and it shows. The best bit was the solo sunset access to wildlife-we didn't have a far drive at day's end to our bush camp, and as such had private dusk sightings (including close up leopard with two cubs and pride of lionesses with 7 cubs standing off against two encroaching males). We've traveled all over the world, primarily for authentic animal and cultural experiences, and this is as good as it gets. Ask for Moses.

I had an amazing time doing the 2 night, 3 day safari with Kalahari Tours. A large group (18) of me and my friends all thoroughly enjoyed the safari itself and we were lucky to see so many animals on the game drives and boat tours, helped by our very well informed guides Gee and Chika. Everyone really enjoyed driving around with Gee and Chika and they made sure to find as many animals as possible and were very knowledgeable telling us about them. The cars are also well stocked with snacks and water and very comfortable. We also really enjoyed the camping which was set up by Amos. The site is perfectly set up with great tents, a fire, toilet and shower facilities. The bed itself is a small mattress and pillow and very comfortable. We were offered warm water in a basin outside our tents every morning to wash our face. The food made by Dicks was also excellent. There was no shortage of food or water the entire tour with people able to have as much as they wanted. They also accommodated any allergies with no problem. Everything about the tour was extremely professional and slick. We would all really recommend the two night/three day tour with Kalahari Tours and thank you very much to Gee, Chika, Amos and Dicks!

Our family of 5 enjoyed the most amazing 3 day trip with Kalahari Tours. We were lucky to have Opi as our talented and well informed guide. Don’t forget birth certificates for anyone under 18 at the border. We were thrilled to watch elephants swim across the Zambezi on the boat safari and all the wildlife we spotted on safari over the 3 days were incredible. Our highlight was 3 different leopards in 3 days. The camp site was comfortable and well catered. Highly recommend.

I did the 2-night, 3-day camping trip in Chobe with Kalahari Tours, and it was honestly one of the best travel experiences I’ve ever had. Everything was well-organized—from booking and pickup to the river cruise, game drives, and camp setup. You could tell it was all run by people who really know what they’re doing. What made it truly special, though, was our guide Leo. He wasn’t just knowledgeable about the wildlife and the bush—he had a great sense of humor and really made sure everyone was comfortable and having a good time. Pontso, our camp chef, and Jacob also deserve a lot of credit for keeping us well-fed and taken care of. The whole experience felt like a perfect mix of wild adventure and comfort. I came away with memories I’ll never forget. If you’re looking for a hassle-free, professional, and genuinely memorable safari, Kalahari Tours is the way to go.

Our driver Leo made this trip phenomenal! Due to his expertise and driving skills we spotted leopard on two different occasions, lions, elephants, rhinos, giraffe, hippo, crocodile, impala, kudu, warthog, jackal, buffalo, amazing sunrises and sunsets. The food was really really good! With so many options to choose from when going on safari I absolutely recommend Kalahari Tours! Great experience!

One of the most incredible experiences I’ve had. Very friendly and helpful guides that really made the experience feel tailored for our family. Boat cruises, bush camping, game drives and excellent food. Shoutout to Lance and Freembie our guides.
