Thomas was an incredible tour guide. He was so passionate about the history of North and South Korea and explaining all different views regarding reunification. The tour was split into sections ranging from 20 minutes to 50 minutes and despite fearing the day's potential for travel sickness, I was pleasantly surprised to find the coach was incredibly comfortable and I didn't even have to take travel sickness medication. The journeys in-between were sometimes brief and I napped during the longer ones (this was encouraged after our 6:30am departure). There were infographics and photographs displayed on the coach to anchor what Thomas was saying. His English is excellent and key information was repeated so that travellers from many different countries could easily understand (from our conversations with each other). The early wake-up time was well worth it. We enjoyed a beautiful, sunny day with the haze clearing as the day progressed. Thomas and the driver adapted the order of each stop to best suit the changing weather. All in all, it was a tremendously enjoyable day. I did have to use my inhaler when travelling down to the tunnel under the DMZ and especially on the way back up the steep slope, but the rest benches helped with recovery and no asthmatic incident thankfully! I also was anxious about the suspension bridge before we went, but after a steep climb and facing my fears, found it pleasantly stable and safely secured at the sides. Thank you to Thomas and our driver for an incredible day full of insight and optimism. We also have some lovely photographs which he kindly took for us! Well worth the money for the comfort and ease of organisation.

Thomas was a fantastic guide for our day tour! He was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and humourous throughout. He went above and beyond in his service including detailed WhatsApp messages to coordinate the early morning meeting and even included messaging some superb restaurant recommendations for us to enjoy after the trip!

Chloe was super friendly and very informative. It was pretty amazing being able to see active farming in North Korea from the observation point. Hiking up the suspension bridge was magnificent.

Chloe was very friendly, knowledgeable and flexible! We had to cancel tunnel tour because of military activities and gave us other options which was very fun!!! We rode the gondola, shopped at military store and hiked the suspension bridge. Definitely a must see tour at DMZ!

I booked to go with my friend but she was no longer able to come. It was so nice to meet new people and Kenny was really friendly too and answered all of my questions. Coming from the UK it was really really interesting to learn about how the UK was involved in korean history and kenny was supportive especially when entering the tunnel. Kenny was also a good photographer in the absence of my friend

It’s been a great opportunity to directly see and learn about the history of the division between North and South Koreas, current East Asian affairs, and unilateral ties among those countries in the future. Among all else, walking down the third tunnel that North Korean army has dug was refreshing. The guide Paku Chan was hilarious and time went by so quickly. Thank you very much!
