  Poor timetable over busy Easter period. Website says 24 hours however, over Easter the bus arrived hourly and only ran from 10am to 3pm, they still charged full price, would not recommend

  We bought a 24 hour ticket, and the next day the line doesn’t operate, we were very dissapointed becouse we were waiting the bus and it doesn’t aper, wen we bought a ticket we didn’t get the information that the bus doesn’t operate next day

  I was at the stop 2 for an hour and a half. The bus never stop. After waiting for this long they recommend to go to stop 1. Departure an hour later, after that wait and finally go on tour, driver took a lunch break / 5 stops later, for 30 minutes we wait in the bus. + The audio wasnt working like on and off / maybe for 2 stops on the whole ride.

  This was an enjoyable excursion but be prepared to take a taxi or other means of transportation from the port. The hop on hop off tour lets you explore the things you want to see

  First, we were told the bus route included a stop close to the cruise docks. It does not. If you come in on a ship you will have to spend $100 or more for transportation into the city. Second, the bus only runs hourly. And, the posted schedule is largely useless. We wasted 1/2 our time waiting for the bus. Third, the drivers and staff were unhelpful. Any questions were answered with vague answers. For example, we asked for directions to the Haga, the driver's response, "I think it is that way." Plus, there is no announcement about the stops - except for the audio guide - if you don't have the audio guide playing you will have no idea which stop is which. In the end, most of the most interesting parts of the tour are walkable, so you dont even need to take the bus. Or, you can take a taxi or ride share.

  Chased tour bus 2 blocks then lost it. Hour later finally found other stop across square where someone told us it stops saw it come up street bit turned away from us. . Saw the sign and scanned route and times but wasn't coming again for 90 minutes which wouldn't allow time to get back to ship in time. Attempted to call tour operator x2 and viator x1 without response

  It says on the webside, that the experience takes 55 minutes(the drive around Gøtenborg) it took 15 minutes, and then we were back. We couldnt jump off at the stops, because it wasnt possible for the drivers to say when they would be back at that stop. So we payed 500 danish kr to drive around in 15 minutes. I am writing a seperat e-mail, were I would like to get a refund.

  We’ve been riding hop-on hop-off busses in Germany, Denmark, Norway and Sweden. This was the most disappointing tour we’ve had! The bus/driver was 25 minutes late to point #1, which was after we waited to redeem our voucher tickets. He stopped, we got on, then he ran over the curb, missing a car in the process. We, too, experienced a very jerky ride (our driver must not know how to feather brakes). On one stop, he almost put the 4 couples into the seat in front of us. Can we put in for “whiplash insurance”? When we were at stop #8, the driver came up to the top deck and told everyone to get off, he was done. The next bus would be around in 20 minutes. With a 20 mph wind, we didn’t stay. We wouldn’t recommend this as your main mode of transportation in this city, or pay the amount asked. ☹️😡

• Disappointing tour

  We used the Gothenburg hop-on hop-off bus as part of our Gothenburg pass. The bus was old, with broken seats and the audio did not work and was not properly synced to the location. Also, the driver was either inexperienced or the bus brakes did not work - as the bus almost ran over pedestrians TWICE (started rolling when parked as people were getting on/off). In addition, the bus did not stop at the predesignated stops unless passengers yelled and rushed to the front. We were told that drivers were instructed NOT to stop because they were too busy that day? What a waste of $!
