What To Expect
Day 1 Pick up from your hotel at Kota Kinabalu at 6.00am. Take approximately 2 hours drive to Kinabalu Park Headquarter for registration. [Passports/Original Identification are required for verification during registration]. Collect your packed lunch and meet your mountain guide. Unneeded luggage can be store at MYR 12 per luggage (own expenses). Porter fees are paid directly to the porter at MYR 14.00/kg. Transfer to Timpohon Gate. Start your adventure of 6KM trekking to Laban Rata. Arrived and overnight at Laban Rata Resthouse (unisex shared dormitory). Dinner start serving at 4.30pm until 7pm, at Laban Rata Restaurant. Day 2 Wake up at 1.30am and gear up. Supper at Laban Rata Restaurant. Start your journey towards the Summit of Low’s Peak @ 4095.2m with your Mountain Guide (Climbers who arrive at Sayat- Sayat Check Point after 5.30am will not allowed to proceed with summit climb). Take beautiful photos at the summit plateau. Descend to Laban Rata for breakfast. Check out and trek down to Timpohon Gate. Take the Park’s shuttle transfer to Kinabalu Park’s HQ. Enjoy your lunch at Balsam Cafe. Collect your Certificate. Transfer back to your hotel, takes approximately 2 hours.

5.00Really a pleasant and difficult journey! The pleasure is that there is a dedicated service throughout, do not worry about other things than mountain climbing. But the hard thing is that you still have to climb the mountain on your own, especially when the 2nd day reaches the summit, it really feels fast to break the air, but ultimately you still complete the summit. Thank you for Borneo calling's schedule and assistance!

5.00Our driver John arrived early and assisted us along the way. He shared with us along the way regarding with the nature and history of Mount KK. The stay and climbing experience, kudos to our mountain guide Willy too, he is professional and take good care of us, make sure non of us fall behind. The Borneo Calling shirt looks fabulous too. Will definitely recommend to friend!

5.00The overall experience is absolutely marvelous. Reaching Low's Peak of Mount Kinabalu have been so enjoyable and fun with Borneo Calling. Admission price depends on the package that you choose. The transportation are fully arranged from airport to the hotel on the day of arrival. The transport drive us to the hotel that we choose after completing the hike. Upon arrival, staff briefed us on hotel room, restaurant and the schedule for the next day. The hotel is nearby with nice comfy bed. All application forms are processed on the day. This saves us the energy and time for the next morning hike. We started at 840am. With the guidance of 2 experienced and kind mountain guide we were able to reach Panalaban within 5 hours and Low's Peak the next morning. Many kudos to Mountain Guide Himrayizan rozlan micolis and Ramin @ mayor bin bigul. The guidances and help provided are the best. Without you guys we would have wasted a lot of energy. Your experience help us achieved our goals.

5.00This 6 day 5 night mountain trip arranged by the "Champion", the overall experience is very professional and smooth. From the airport transfer to the mountain climb arrangements are well planned, the pace is well mastered, so we can rest assuredly focus on the mountain challenge.
