5.00Giulien was a fantastic tour guide - he made the most of our 2 hours and showed us so much of the city. He was very knowledgable, and we all really enjoyed it. We couldn't think of a better way to get to see and hear about Bucharest. He also had great recommendations for us.

5.00Fantastic overview of the history and most significant sites of Bucharest. Mircha tailored this private tour to our interests. He even got us inside the symphony hall at the end of a performance to allow us to see the beauty of that majestic space. We couldn’t recommend this experience more highly. Don’t cheat yourself and book this tour from a Moldovan who lived through the communist times and revolution through the emergence of this developing country. This was a superb experience!
Best part of my trip. Thoroughly enjoyed it, saw all the sights and learned so much. Invaluable. Do it!

5.00Wow. What a tour. Definitely the highlight of my stay in Bucharest. In just a few hours I felt I had seen and come to know more about the city than in a whole week on my own. Wish I had done it sooner. Mircea, perfectly bilingual, is a highly intelligent, personable, gracious and knowledgeable guide. I learned lessons in history, geography, politics, economics... but he made sure to keep the tour at 'my pace', checking in to ensure I was interested, enjoying things, not overloaded, not tired... and that I had any questions answered. He made me feel comfortable asking the questions I knew I had my facts all wrong on, and was dying to know but not sure might be offensive, and he answered all with tact, respect, and diplomacy, all the facts as well as a genuine passion. Just the nicest guy and so smart. If I had more time, I would attend more tours in Romania with Mircea. One day, I hope to! I had never invested in a private tour before but now that I realize just how worthwhile it was, I don't know that it will make sense to go back to the crowded group and bus tours I had been doing. One private tour made my trip feel so much more valuable, and me feel like a smarter, better traveller... well worth the VIP treatment. Unbelievably amazing tour in an unbelievably beautiful and interesting city, you won't regret it. Make it the first thing you do! I took tons of photos...Mircea was very patient and even helped me with those as my skills aren't great ... but I include just the one so you know who you are looking for when you meet him. Enjoy your tour and tell him I said hello!

5.00Wow, In just a few hours we learned the complete history of this city, in close connection with the history of the Romanian principalities and their neighbors. Mircea is very well informed and tells in detail in chronological order to create a complete picture. I highly recommend this tour, it changed my opinion about this country after this experience.
