This is a package of three activities where you can discover what Tortuguero has to offer, plus it also has a breakfast and 2 hours of free kayaking
The first activity is the canoe tour, starting at 6 am and lasting 2h 45 min. Animals such as alligators, birds and some mammals can be seen, among others
The second activity is a hike on the jaguar trail. This activity starts at 11 am and lasts 2 hours. On this trail it is very common to see white-faced monkeys, bird snakes and sloths.
The last activity is a night walk at 6:30 pm and lasts approximately 2 hours. This activity is to see animals such as frogs, snakes, a wide variety of insects, nocturnal birds, among others.
The activities can be done all the same day or the other option is to do the night walk the first night and the next day do the canoe tour at 6 am and then the day walk at 11 am.

What To Expect
Tortuguero National Park
The first activity is the canoe tour. This activity starts at 6 am, but you have to be 10 minutes early because there is a small snack consisting of coffee or tea, cookies and fruit.
Tortuguero National Park
The second activity is a hike in the national park on the jaguar trail. This activity starts at 11 am and lasts 2 hours.

5.00The day started early in the morning with a small breakfast (coffee, biscuits, bananas), after which we took a small rowboat across the water into various side arms and coves. Despite the rain (which was protected by rain ponchos), our guide Daniel was able to show us many different animals such as caimans as well as different bird and iguana species. At noon we had another guided hike through the forest with Daniel. In addition to lots of interesting information about the island itself, nature conservation, forest and animals, we were also able to admire many animal species such as arrow poison frogs, monkeys, snakes, sloths and anteaters. In the evening we explored the forest with Jairo in the dark. Of course, it was generally difficult to spot animals here, but we still saw sloths, various species of frogs and salamanders, snakes, spiders and porcupines. All in all a very nice and informative experience!

5.00The company has been with us since we arrived at La Pavona Pier. Upon arrival in Tortuguero Louis was waiting to give us all the information of the tours. With Daniel as a guide we have done the night walk, the canal tour and the jaguar trail. We have seen many animals and for everyone Daniel had something interesting to tell. He also told us about the town, its people, its customs and how the National Park has changed their lives. Highly recommended to carry out the activities with them.

5.00The 3 activities were wonderful! They are all quite different and complement each other perfectly, especially if you are lucky enough to have the same guide on several of them. Luis, who accompanied us for the canoeing and land ride, was very friendly and allowed us to observe a lot of animals! A big thank you to him. Our second guide for the night walk also allowed us to discover the other part of the fauna of the island through this great tour. The guides are very pedagogical and competent, in English or Spanish!
