Experience the ultimate European road trip: breakfast in Austria, lunch in Hungary, and coffee in Slovakia—all in a single day. This exclusive private tour allows you to discover the grandeur of Budapest and the charm of Bratislava without the hassle of trains or buses. We have optimized the route to maximize your comfort: first, we explore the spectacular sights of Budapest while you are fresh, and then stop in cozy Bratislava to break the return journey.
What makes this tour truly "Luxury" is your professional two-person crew. Unlike standard tours where the guide is distracted by driving, you have a separate private driver ensuring a safe and smooth ride. This allows your expert guide to give you full attention, share stories, and assist you at every step. Rest in the back seat of your spacious vehicle, nap between cities or listen to tales of the Habsburgs & the Iron Curtain, and enjoy the most efficient way to see three capitals in one day.

Vienna
Your private driver and guide pick you up from your hotel in Vienna. Settle into your comfortable seat as we drive east across the Hungarian border. Use this time to listen to the history of the Austro-Hungarian Empire or simply nap to prepare for the day.
Buda Castle
Welcome to the majestic capital of Hungary! We begin our exploration on the hilly Buda side, where history overlooks the Danube. Thanks to your private driver, we bypass the strenuous climb and drive directly to the heart of the Castle District. Here, you will admire the stunning exterior of Matthias Church, famous for its vibrant, multi-colored tiled roof that glows in the sunlight. Just steps away, we visit the fairytale-like towers of the Fisherman’s Bastion. From its terraces, you will enjoy the most iconic panoramic view of the Hungarian Parliament and the river below—a perfect moment for unforgettable photos before we cross to the other side of the city. Before we leave, we can stop for lunch based on your preference: we can sit down for a traditional, warming Goulash soup (or Fish soup) here in the Castle District, or if you prefer a lighter option to save time, we can grab some sandwiches later on the Pest side.

Fascinating trip to multiple places. There is nothing better when traveling than having a knowledgeable and experienced guide. Jenny has a university degree in History from Bratislava, and she uses her deep experience to weave together stories of the politics, religion, and historical personalities involved in the castles, churches, and memorials that we visited. Vlad our driver was very professional and safe. I appreciated that we could be dropped off and picked up very close to tourist entrances. So much better than a large bus service that parks a distance away and mandates a long walk to the place of interest. Budapest is one of the grand European capitals which should not be missed. The architecture was stunning. Bratislava has a very Slavic feel, different from nearby Vienna which is surprising as they are only an hour’s drive apart. I would highly recommend both this tour and others provided by CozyTravel. The personal service , communication and reliability are invaluable.

We had booked a private tour from Vienna to Bratislava and Budapest, but the driver never showed up and we received no communication. Bad experience and totally unreliable, trip ruined and service absolutely not recommended.

Jenny and her partner, Vladimir, were amazing guides. Vladimir was a very safe driver and let us out at convenient spots so we didn’t spend unnecessary time searching for parking. Jenny’s knowledge of the history and culture of Budapest and Bratislava was amazing. They were both kind and caring about our needs. They took us to the “not to be missed” places but we never felt rushed. This was a fantastic day with a fantastic couple!

Jenny and her partner were super knowledgeable, friendly and very reliable. They recommended excellent restaurant in Budapest and fantastic ice cream shop in Bratislava. Their car was very comfortable, even having the possibility of reclining a little the seats to take a nap while driving between the cities. They veru happy to answer all our questions and made very helpful recommendations even in Prague. We would highly recommend this tour.

We had a fantastic day trip to Bratislava and Budapest. Our guides Jenny and her husband picked us up at our hotel to start our full day tour. They were both extremely knowledgeable about the history, geography and peoples from both capitals and gave us an excellent and thorough tour of these beautiful cities. They were very friendly and great guides and hosts. They made sure we comfortable and saw all the most interesting parts of the cities at a very easy and relaxed pace. We had plenty of time to look, ask questions, stop for and shop for souvenirs. We throughly enjoyed the tour and would definitely recommend it to anyone interested in visiting Bratislava and Budapest while staying in Vienna.

I am so glad that I booked this private tour during my trip. Jenny was a wonderful tour guide, well versed, accommodating, and overall amazing. I was able to visit a lot of beautiful places in a short time which I wouldn’t have been able to do by myself. It was a memorable experience. Highly recommended.

I had a wonderful time on the trip. The guide of Jenni was kind and made the tour a pleasant experience. She is knowledgeable about three countries. My questions were answered kindly by her. Before the tour, she is excellent at responding to my messages. I am willing to recommend this tour agent.

Hiring a private tour guide for our journey through Vienna, Bratislava, and Budapest was a decision that truly elevated our travel experience. Our knowledgeable guide added depth and context to the places we visited, ensuring we didn't miss any significant landmarks or hidden treasures. What truly set our private tour experience apart was the flexibility it afforded us. Our guide adapted the itinerary to accommodate our preferences, making impromptu stops and suggesting off-the-beaten-path attractions. The expert guidance, personalized attention, and in-depth knowledge enhanced our understanding and appreciation of these remarkable cities. We highly recommend this tour.

Jane (our guide) and Vladimir (our driver) were fantastic. They were extremely informative, friendly and they provided a great experience as they showed us the three capitals. My family (myself, my wife, and two sons 14 and 13) thoroughly enjoyed the day, learned things that only locals can share and we highly recommend them and this tour.
