Day one: ( Ta Prohm, Pre Rup temple, Banteay Samre and Banteay Srey temple for 7-8 hours). At 8 am, you will be taken in a Car/ minivan to jungle-clap temple of Ta Promh. You’ll see how the tentacle-like tree roots are slowly strangling the surviving stones. It’s an evocative sight. Then head to Pyramid Pre Rup which built in the second halt of 10 century (961 AD) to dedicate to Shiva God and the king's ancestors combined. Later on, visit less-popular Banteay Samre temple of Angkor Wat style. Lunch Break. In the afternoon, visit Banteay Srei 'Citadel of the Women', and it is said that it must have been built by a woman, as the elaborate carvings are supposedly too fine for the hand of a man. Banteay Srei is one of the few temples around Angkor to be commissioned not by a king but by a Brahman, who may have been a tutor to Jayavarman V Back to the hotel.
Angkor Wat

Then move to smiling-face Bayon temple standing right in the middle of Angkor Thom, the ancient city with a population of about 300,000 people in thirteenth century. Later on, visit nearby temples, Baphoun, Phimeanakas, Royal palace, Preah Palilay, terrace of elephant and terrace of leper king. Have lunch locally. After lunch break, visit Preah Khan temple which was built in 1191 to honor the King's father . back to the hotel.

Bun was an excellent tour guide. He picked us up at the airport and took us to our hotel. The next day we spent hours going from temple to temple learning from him the history and religion of the area. The following day the sunrise at Angkor Watt was stunning and Bun took us to different sections that allowed us great views and history lessons. His English and enthusiasm and knowledge is great. Finally throughout the day he provided us with cold water and breaks in his car which was needed as it was quite hot during the day. He even gave us some fresh mangoes from his own tree at home!! What a treat! I would highly recommend the tour.

A colleague recommended a guide, Bunleat from Tour Angkor Wat. He truly maximized my short time in Siem Reap. Whether you're a solo traveler or in a small group, I highly recommend Tour Angkor Wat. Bunleat's knowledge was astounding, providing historical context and insights into local life before, during, and after COVID. He was open to all my questions and even cleverly referenced earlier inquiries at later sites to better answer my initial curiosities. The heat was intense, but Bunleat kept me well-hydrated with a constant supply of water. He skillfully timed our visits to popular temples, avoiding the crowds and ensuring a more enjoyable experience. For solo female travelers or small groups, I can't recommend Bunleat enough. He organized airport transfers and expertly fit in temple visits around my arrival and departure times. He was clearly dedicated to ensuring I had a fulfilling Siem Reap experience despite my limited time. I felt safe, heard, and thoroughly impressed by his expertise. I've made sure to share his information with friends who are looking to travel to Siem Reap.

I connected with Bunleat for the 3 day tour of Ankor Wat and the surrounding area and had a spectacular experience. He is a wealth of historical information and anecdotes and knew exactly where to go for the best views, pictures and how to escape the crowds. Would absolutely recommend him for anyone wanting a knowledgeable, fun and entertaining guide in around Seim Reap

The tour was planned very well. We were a family of 8 with a child and elderly too but overall was not too hurried. Borey was amazing.. with his many stories and understanding of the history and culture of Cambodia. Overall would definitely recommend the tour.

Jimmy was incredible. We had ages ranging from 5 to people in their 70s, yet he still managed to engage everyone in an exciting, informative way. He is very welcoming, and you can tell that he knows his Khmer history. He speaks the language very well, and is very patient. Even when only two people decided to come to his sunset tour, he still put in the same amount of effort and dedication. While giving helpful and edifying suggestions, he leaves the judgments to you. You can always rely on Jimmy to be there, and ask him anything you like. He provides an exhilarating example of what Cambodia was and still is. I wish I had him for longer.

Jimmy was amazing and very helpful. We liked how descriptive he was about each story. I would definitely recommend it even for a 9 year old!

Disclaimer: This was my first personal use of a tour guide on a foreign trip. I was asked to write an honest review; this is my best attempt. We were assigned a driver (Ang Bong) and a tour guide (Vanny Chhoem) for the 3 days that my girlfriend and I wanted to tour the ancient ruins of Cambodia. I wasn't sure what to expect; but, I probably would have predicted something like scripted lines and a pretty rigid schedule. However, our driver Ang was extremely flexible, accommodating small detours for bathroom breaks or sightseeing as desired. They always opened and closed the car doors for us and had cold towels ready before each leg of the journey. Our tour guide, Vanny, is extremely knowledgeable not only about the local history, but also about the history of the larger region of Southeast Asia and India and about the more modern political happenings in Cambodia. We toured more than 6 temples over 3 days (having the opportunity to tour more, but deciding to use our time in other ways for our middle day). The company also coordinated a boat tour in a fishing village and arranged for a visit to a local school. The school offers free English classes sponsored by Happy Angkor Wat Tour, another reason to support this company. I saw artwork, learned words, and experienced history that I will never forget and gained an appreciation for a people that I had never considered, before. Both our driver and our tour guide were extremely professional, spoke English very well, accommodated our schedule and were able to recommend how best to use our time both during and outside of the tour. If I have to critique anything then I would advise the future traveller of 2 things. 1) Bring a map or request one. It's difficult to understand where and when everything is related; marking up information on a map is a great way to keep track of everything and we weren't provided with one (but, nor did we ever think to ask). 2) You should expect your tour vehicle to be clean, comfortable, and safe, but don't expect it to be new. We were provided a mid-2000s Lexus SUV, which is characteristic of an upper middle-class Cambodian vehicle; a country whose car market is largely based on restored, foreign used vehicles.
