Giant's Causeway
The Giant’s Causeway, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Northern Ireland, is a breathtaking natural wonder famous for its unique hexagonal basalt columns. Located on the Antrim Coast, this geological marvel was formed around 50 to 60 million years ago due to intense volcanic activity. As molten lava cooled rapidly, it contracted and fractured into the distinctive interlocking columns seen today. The site consists of approximately 40,000 basalt pillars, some rising up to 12 meters high, creating a surreal, geometric landscape. According to Irish legend, the Causeway was built by the mythical giant Finn McCool, who constructed it as a bridge to Scotland to challenge his rival, Benandonner. The story adds to the site’s mystique, attracting tourists from around the world. Come walk along the famous stones, and admire formations like the Wishing Chair, the Organ, and the Giant’s Boot. The surrounding cliffs and crashing waves further enhance the dramatic beauty of the site.
Carrick A Rede Rope Bridge
Cross if you dare if not we can bring you to the iconic vantage point where you we be able to catch the spectacular photo. Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge is a famous tourist attraction in Northern Ireland, spanning 20 meters (66 feet) and suspended 30 meters (98 feet) above the Atlantic Ocean. Located near Ballintoy, it connects the mainland to the small Carrick-a-Rede island. Originally built by fishermen for salmon fishing, the bridge now offers breathtaking coastal views and a thrilling crossing experience. Managed by the National Trust, it attracts thousands of visitors annually. £15 per person to cross rope bridge

Our spontaneous three-generation girls’ trip to Ireland became truly unforgettable thanks to Gerard, our amazing guide. What started as a simple city tour in Belfast turned into so much more. From the moment we met Gerard, we were absolutely captivated by his infectious enthusiasm, deep historical knowledge, and warm personality. We were so impressed that we scrapped our original plan for me to drive and booked him for a private tour to the Giant’s Causeway—and I’m so glad we did! Not only did we get to fully immerse ourselves in the incredible beauty and history of the Causeway and Northern Ireland, but Gerard also wove in stops at some breathtaking Game of Thrones filming locations that we would’ve never found on our own. His storytelling made every place come alive. One of the most meaningful parts of the day was driving through County Antrim, where my mother’s family lived before emigrating just before the end of the Great Hunger. Gerard handled that history with sensitivity and care, adding such a personal and touching element to our experience. He also went above and beyond by giving us fantastic recommendations for other spots to visit, places to eat and drink, and even shared a piece of his mother Mary’s homemade ginger cake—which was divine and made us feel like family. Gerard, if you and your family ever come to San Diego, I’d be honored to return the hospitality. Thank you for giving us memories we’ll cherish for a lifetime. You’re an absolute gem!

Our tour guide was called Mark and honestly he made the day a very special day as he knew every single detail on what he was talking about. Not only were we informed about everything GoT in Northern Ireland, but we also got an extensive history about the conflict that went down in this country. I highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in seeing almost the half the country and especially if they are GoT fans.

Highlight of our trip to Northern Ireland. Gerard was personable and extremely knowledgeable. He was able to cater our tour to all the groups interests, whether it was GoT, local history, current events, or folklore. The tour itself was spectacular with highlights at Giant's Causeway, Ballintoy Harbor, and Bushmills. There's no way we could have had an experience that came close to what our tour provided had we hired a car. Belfast Attractions was super easy to work with and very accommodating for our group of 7. I would highly recommend them if you are considering a personalized tour of the Causeway coast. Well worth it!

First, David is an excellent, personable, knowledegable, and charming guide. He made the whole day really easy for us, and told us many stories about the Antrim Coast as well as his experience working with the Game of Thrones film team. He even stopped at a few extra places when I asked if I could take more photos. Second, the Antrim Coast, with or without the GoT stops, is one of the most gorgeous places in the world! Every time we turned a corner, another spectacular vista, interesting geological formation, quaint village, or friendly pub awaited us. N.I. is a beautiful country (we are from the US) with friendly, outgoing people and gorgeous scenery around every corner. I recommend not only David and Belfast Attractions tour company, but the entire country of Northern Ireland to you. Put this on your bucket list asap - you won't be disappointed.

This is hands down the best tour I have ever had. Mark M. (Tour guide/driver) made sure we had a first class experience from start to finish. The tour wouldn’t have been the same without his knowledge of the area. I highly recommend this tour. My advice - request Mark M. - you won’t regret it!
