What To Expect
Chamo lake and Forty Springs tour in Nechisar National Park in Arba Minch
Chamo Lake
In the morning we start to drive to Chamo lake and visit by boat to one of the great East Africa rift valleys. Lake Chamo is the third-largest lake in Ethiopia. See giant Nile crocodiles, aquatic birds and hippopotamus.
Nechisar National Park Arba Minch
Afternoon drive to Forty springs. Take an amazing hiking inside Nechisar National Park on riverine ground water forest and swim on natural swimming pool, see colobus monkey, olive baboon and warthog.
Crocodile Runch and Dorze Village tour
Arba Minch
Morning: After breakfast We drive to crocodile ranch Visit the Arba Minch Crocodile Ranch – Discover one of Ethiopia’s largest crocodile farms, where you can observe these fascinating reptiles up close and learn about conservation efforts.
Dorze Village
Afternoon we start to drive to Dorze village to visit one of the best cultural villages. See a typical traditional house made out of a bamboo tree and an elephant shaped-house. Have a look inside and outside a house and preparation of false bananas, how they made this plant their cultural food as they're known for weaving production, and see Dorze people traditional music and dancing. Enjoy with people and may visit a waterfall. Afterwards we drive back to Arba Minch.
Konso Village
Konso Cultural Centre
Early morning drive to Konso village on the way see the Gamo landscape, visit one of the ancient villages which is registered by UNESCO. See a Konso traditional mountain terrace farm, wall village and community house called Mora and their generation pole, maturity stone all their cultural practice. Afterwards we drive back to Arba Minch.
Arba Minch to Addis Ababa
Addis Ababa
Morning: After delightful breakfast, drive to Arba Minch Airport for your flight back to Addis Ababa. End of the tour.

We fell in love with the city and the experience so much that we came back again with friends — and of course, we booked another two-day adventure with him! Over our tours, we hiked through stunning landscapes, spotted zebras, crocodiles, and hippos, and even enjoyed a delicious meal at a local fisherman’s market — the fresh Nile perch and cold beer were unbeatable! One of the most memorable moments was meeting a king in Konso and having a conversation about justice and tradition — an experience we’ll never forget. We also explored ancient civilizations, beautiful waterfalls, and learned so much about the culture and history of the region. 5.00I was traveling alone, and as a solo female backpacker, I’ve never felt more secure. It’s definitely safe for solo female travelers. The guide was awesome, the tour was amazing, and I feel enriched by Ethiopian culture. I’d definitely travel with Mystery Land Ethiopia again—whether to the north or somewhere else!
