Austria and especially its capital, Vienna, have made massive strides these last few years regarding the equality and visibility of the LGBTIQ+ community. None of that would have been possible without the countless brave activists and pioneers, that worked towards this goal.
On this queer tour we talk about Vienna as it is now and what it took to get here, while also featuring famous and not so famous figures from Vienna's queer history.

Our first stop is the square in front of the Viennese City Hall where the LGBTIQ community hosts the colourful Pride Parade leading to the Pride Village every June. A zebra crossing in rainbow colors connects the square with the Burgtheater and the Café Landtmann, where Sigmund Freud frequently drank his coffee

5.00A must for all interested in LGBT+ history and present. The tour with Anna, who was super-nice even though she had only two persons in the group by 35°C heat of the summer day, was full of information and stories (from Imperial times, WWII, but also recent history and present), with accuracy and also sense of humour. You'll see the city of Vienna how you've never see it before. We'll definitely try also other tours, thanks!
