Day 1

Arrival at Wuyishan (Mount Wuyi).O/N Nanping.

Nanping

In the morning, your guide will greet you either outside the Wuyi airport arrival exit or at the Wuyi railway station upon your arrival or your hotel at Wuyi area and head to Mount Wuyi.

Jiuqu Stream in Wuyishan Mountain

You will board the unique featured bamboo raft to cruise 2 to 3 hours the Nine-bend River in Mount Wuyi. The 62.8-km (40-mi) long river snake winds along the mountain foot, and the landscape of mountains and rivers changes accordingly. Rafting down the river amongst the picturesque landscape is standard fare for tourists on a Mount Wuyi tour.

Wuyi Mountain Scenic Resort

After the scenic rafting, you will get to Wuyi Palace, where emperors used to make ritual offerings to the gods. There are two standing thousand year old osmanthus trees to bear witness to the ancient events that took place in the palace yard, in addition to four stone steles with relevant inscriptions.

Day 2

Mount Wuyi. O/N Nanping.

Wuyi Mountain Scenic Resort

In the morning, you will visit the Heavenly Tour Peak(Tian you feng), the most beautiful portion of the Nine-bend River overlooking the spectacular steep Danxia land formation. You also get a panoramic view of the fairyland Mount Wuyi in a sea of clouds and jagged peaks. After lunch, you are guided to the Dahongpao Scenic Area canyon to watch the three authentic Dahongpao Tea Trees on the precipitous rock. Due to its rarity, Dahongpao Tea is considered as the King of Tea. Many famous part nature and part man-made landscapes are within sight. A trek to the waterfalls in Water Curtain Cave will wind up today's Wuyishan private tour. And you will get back to the hotel.

Departure from Wuyishan. The tour end.

Xiamei Ancient Dwellings

After breakfast, you will drive 5 kilometers (3 miles) due east of Mount Wuyi Scenic Area to the Xiamei Ancient Village. This village is dissected by a 900 meters (0.6 miles) canal. The ancient residential buildings and antiquated ancestral halls put on display carvings from brick, stone and wood.
