  • Wonderful 3 day Highlands tour

We just finished an incredible 3-day tour of the Highlands starting from Edinburgh and couldn't be happier. Our guide, Martin, was fantastic—incredibly friendly and went out of his way to make sure everyone in the group was accommodated and comfortable. What really made the trip special was Martin's storytelling. He shared deep history and local lore at every stop, and even taught us some Gaelic, which made the experience feel so authentic. He also shared personal stories from his own life, which made the history feel much more relatable and interesting. If you're looking for a tour that balances stunning scenery with a personal, educational touch, I highly recommend asking for Martin!

Overall it was a great experience. Nathan was our guide and provided a lot of information as we were driving to and from the Highlands which helped our journey go a bit faster. Overall it’s a good itinerary, you certainly get to see the highlights of the Highlands and Isle of the Sky. The coach was fairly comfortable but no place to set personal items down (phone, jacket, water bottle, etc.) so you had to have everything on your lap. There was a space above for small backpacks. Regarding our accommodations, we booked a B&B through the tour. Others on our tour did not book their hotels with Rabbies but did it on their own. Their accommodations were in town which was much more convenient to restaurants. We had a 12 min walk to the town, which is ok but we had horrible weather and walking in the cold rain was not fun. Before our trip, I had a few questions about our tour and they replied quickly. So, if you have any questions don’t hesitate to reach out to them.

What an amazing experience! The 3 day trip to Isle of Skye for Edinburgh was so wonderful. Despite some heavy rain, Graeme took us to many, many sights with time to wander if we chose to. He gave lovely stories and details of all the sights we visited and passed on our journey. There were only about 13 of us on the tour so it made getting around very easy and timely. I cannot recommend Graeme enough, he was absolutely lovely.

Graeme was FANTASTIC!! He was a jolly fellow who took us to fantastic sight-seeing spots. We were able to get off the bus and walk around areas of Skye for around 30-45 minutes. During the bus ride itself, he would give historical details and even folktales of the places we were visiting!!

Riding with Graeme was such an excellent experience. He’s a wonderful guide and resource to first-time visitors like ourselves, and I enjoyed talking with him about movies and obscure highland history.

This trip was part of a sabbatical for me, and it exceeded my expectations. We had an exceptionally small group of four (being in the off-season), and our guide Stefan, made the trip a pilgrimage for me. As we drove through the Highlands and around the Isle of Skye, Stefan wove geographical highlights, Scottish history and legend, music (so cleverly), and quirky humor so that we not only saw the awesome sights before us but also felt some of the power and wonder of them. Much has happened on this mountainous land and breathtaking coastline that speaks of human nature, its goodness and sadness, perseverance and violence—and learning about all this enriched and deepened the experience. So it’s a tour but so much more. The weather is of course the biggest variable, but Stefan was ready and flexible with rain or sun. When we ended the tour at the bus station, I was holding off tears because we had shared what was for me a transformative experience, just three days, and I was sad to see it end. Thank you!

  • Highland Stories, Stunning Scenery, and a Guide Who Brought It All to Life

I had a fantastic experience on my 3-day Rabbie’s tour with Princess Kelly of Scotland. Her deep passion for Scottish history, paired with her acting background, brought the stories of the Highlands to life in a way that was both engaging and genuinely funny. The scenery across the Scottish Highlands was absolutely breathtaking, and the entire trip felt effortless — from the well-planned sightseeing stops to comfortable accommodations and great food and drink along the way. If you’re looking for a tour that blends history, humor, and stunning landscapes with seamless logistics, this one is hard to beat.

This is an amazing tour. If you're in Edinburgh for about a week take 3 days and do this tour. You will not regret it. I saw such amazing and picturesque natural beauty I have never seen anywhere else. Also our tour guide "Queen Kelly of Scotland" was phenomenal. Her joy for her job and her love of her country truly showed across the 3 days. We saw tons of Lochs, mountains, castles, and visited multiple towns and stopped at numerous locations for pictures. Great time.
