This tour was great all the sites we visited were awesome. Our tour guide/driver Cliff Hand was great lots info and his knowledge of history of Scotland and the highlands was excellent. Only negative the tour company should have a list of restaurants in Portree with phone numbers so you can make reservations as the are needed.

This three day tour had a lot going for it, and one of the best things about it was the person who was our tour guide and driver, Laurie! We’ve taken guided trips before, and it usually takes one person to drive and one to talk about the sights; Laurie was great at doing both! We felt very safe in her care and she has a wealth of knowledge that she was able to share. Laurie is the real deal and it shows! One thing needs changing though: the hotel. Staff were welcoming and friendly; the rooms were modest but clean and the breakfast options were good. But after spending all day on the road and checking in to stay two nights, we were very disappointed to find that their kitchen was closed! Both nights! Unacceptable in my opinion, especially when the nearest spot to get supper was a 15 minute walk and across muddy field and stony pathway. Add rain on the second night and finding out that no one delivers on Skye Island, is a deal breaker for me. I’m 75, use a cane and taxi services are not plentiful. I’d always be happy to tour with Laurie, but next time I’ll remember that the devil is in the details!

The tour and the guide Laurie, both were amazing! She showed us around all the hotspots and even more, gave a lot of information, was interactive. Big thumbs up for her flexibility regarding an medical emergency we had to take care of in Portree. The sights we’ve seen were breathtaking.

Ry was our driver and he did a fantastic job of this tour. He gave everyone regardless of the person on tour what they wanted to see. Our accomodation was good, no issues with tour overall. Thanks Ry for the great experience.

A tour was really great - very well organised and guided (thanks to our guide Ry!). We were the only family with a kid (7 years old), and our daughter didn't have any problems at all - not with the length of the bus drives, not with the locations and their complexity. The tour overall is very affordable for children and interesting enough. I'm general, we've seen and experienced everything what we expected and even more. Fantastic sceneries, good food and interesting stories from the guide. We also were lucky enough to have a good weather and end up with 19 people group size which is perfect (more than 20 might be worse sometimes).

We came for a girls trip and had a great time! Ry was a funny and thoughtful guide the whole trip and great driver. He had the group do a small icebreaker at the start to make sure he tailored the stops to our interests, ultimately showing us a mix of sites from whiskey distilleries to small towns to hikes and nature reserves to our favorite stop, the highland coos!! He shared history, fairy tales, and an awesome playlist of Scottish music. We felt safe everywhere we went and the hotel was great. Would definitely recommend the trip and special thanks to Ry for being the best guide and making sure we had a great experience!

Just incredible Skye and the trip was made enjoyable with a very knowledgeable guide - Cliff! He went out of his call of duty to pack in more sights and information. I think the Highland Explorer should clone Cliff, so that more people can have the amazing experience like we did!

The trip duration was just right, enabling you to see all the major highlights in a quick and low effort way especially if you have limited time.
