  The safari was exceptionally well run from start to finish. Everything was smooth, organised, and delivered with real care. The experience itself was truly sensational—one of those once‑in‑a‑lifetime moments we’ll never forget. The hotel was also STUNNING and a true highlight. Norman made the whole trip so easy to organise and suit our plans. Our driver also made the trip so special. Being able to enjoy a 7 hour drive and learn so much along the way says a lot to the professionalism and friendliness there.   Grandiose 4-day safari in Kruger National Park with panoramic route. Remember, our driver in the park was soo friendly and knowledgeable. He not only showed us the Big Five, but also explained a lot of background, he had a lot of expertise and an incredible, funny nature. It was great fun. I'd do it the same way.   We booked Nhlalala Travel’s 4-day Kruger package several months in advance and from the very first email they were outstanding. Norman was quick to respond, super flexible, and happily customized our itinerary exactly the way we wanted. We even added extra passengers to the group shortly before departure and they made it completely seamless. On the day of travel, our guide Norman picked us up from Johannesburg and handled the 6-hour drive to Kruger Gate Hotel (and back) comfortably and professionally. The Kruger Gate Hotel itself was fantastic; beautiful location right at the gate, lovely rooms, friendly staff, and great food. Norman absolutely made the trip. He is hands-down one of the best guides we’ve ever had anywhere in the world. Incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, but also warm, funny, patient, and genuinely caring. Whenever we wanted to tweak the schedule or make changes, Norman adapted instantly and always delivered something even better than we expected. His passion for Kruger is contagious; you can tell he loves what he does. We saw the Big 5 multiple times, countless elephants up close, wild dogs, giraffes, hyenas, zebras, lions, hippos, and had so many magical moments we’ll never forget. Everything ran like clockwork, yet it never felt rushed or “touristy.” It felt personal and special from start to finish. Norman always stayed in communication on WhatsApp. If you’re thinking of a Kruger safari, book with Nhlalala Travel and request Norman if you can; you will not regret it. Thank you Nhlalala team for an absolutely perfect experience. • Great Safari + Panorama 3 days Kruger National Park

  I found Nhlalala Travel researching Kruger Safari Tours on the web. I sent an email to several operators asking for information. Norman (founder and owner) sent me a very detailed answer about offers, prices and conditions. I decided to place my bet on Nhlalala Travel not only because of good reviewes, but mainly because Norman supported our needs and I found his offer a fair compromise in terms of quality and price. Our experience consisted in a 3 days of Safari in Kruger Park (end of October 2025), including private transfer from / to Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport. At the first day Loyd picked us up in a sedan car directly at the hotel near the Airport around 7.30 a.m. and drove us to Kruger Gate Hotel (we checked-in about 2 p.m.). We had a couple of hours to relax before Safari sunset drive at 4 p.m. . I really recommend Kruger Gate Hotel, it is a bit more expensive, but it is worth your money: it is located just outside Kruger Park, next to the main entrance (Paul Kruger Gate), rooms are nice and clean, the environment is typical, it offers good services (such as zero-edge pool with observation desk and pool bar), it includes dinner (served buffet style, but variety and quality are good, drinks not included) and breakfast. Second day we started a full day private Safari (on a shared vehicles, we were a dozen of visitors on it), at 5 a.m., until 3 p.m. . Early morning is the best moment of the day to see animals (there is light and the temperature is not so high). Our guide Roger was very experienced, knowledgeable, and available in satisfying our requests: we saw a lot of animals very close (elephants, giraffes, buffalos, zebras, hawks, eagles, wild-dogs, leopard, hippos, hyenas... and of course baboons, a lot of antelope species; unfortunately no lions, no rhinos, but we couldn't pretend to see them all in a single day). Third day Loyd picked us up at Kruger Gate Hotel after breakfast at 8 a.m. . Again, this was a private transfer in a sedan car. We travelled the panoramic route, that passes through God's Window, the Three Rondavels and blyde River Canyon: the duration is a bit longer, but landscapes are amazing. We arrived in Johannesburg about 6 p.m., directly at the hotel. We spent about 800€ p.p. , that seemed a relevant amount at the time I reserved, but after the experience I can say it is a fair deal: we had two private transfers in a nice car from / to our hotel in Johannesburg (close to OR Tambo Airport), we spent 2 nights in a beautiful 4-stars Hotel just outside Kruger Park with breakfast and dinner included, we had a sunset Safari (3 hours) on a shared vehicle and a full day private Safari (9 hours) with a dedicated guide, we came back through the panoramic route (entrance tickets to panoramic spots included). Norman was very clear and professional in all steps of reservation process: I paid 35% in advance when placing the booking, then the balance due (65%) just 72h before the trip (payments done through payfast link). In the end, I absolutely recommend Nhlalala Travel. Again, great thanks to Norman, Loyd and Roger who took good care of us: we really enjoyed the experience. Keep up the great job!   Norman and his team are professionals of the highest quality and warmth, caring for every detail, necessary for our comfort. The hotel and its staff lived up to the beach experience. I must highlight the work of Lloyd who handled our transport to and from Johannesburg. His work was impeccable, punctual, helpful, friendly and willing to solve all our needs.   We did the Kruger Tour with panoramic route and come back with very positive impressions. Everything was very good from the punctual pick up via the tours. Our driver picked us up at the hotel and then drove us everywhere. The hotel near the Kruger was very nice and really only a few minutes away. Our local guide Roger was so eager that we see all the animals and is highly recommended, All in all really super nice. Only a little information about the passage of days we would have liked.   Safari tour of Kruger National Park. We drive in a safari car driven by our guide through a national park that is so huge it is the size of Shikoku in Japan. You can see the ecosystem of the animals as they are. African elephants, giraffes, and other famous herbivores can be reliably spotted except for rhinos. Only rhinos are rare, so luck is needed. Carnivores, hyenas are more likely to be seen. There is a certain possibility of a lion. Cheetahs and leopards are very rare. The Kruger Gate Hotel we stayed at is as good as any Japanese luxury hotel in terms of cleanliness of rooms, good atmosphere in the hotel and quality of food. You can also ask for a panoramic route home to enjoy the overwhelming natural scenery of Africa.
