Paucartambo
Stop in the charming colonial town of Paucartambo, known for its colorful traditions and historical significance. Learn about local customs and culture as you explore the town with your guide.
Manu National Park
Continue ascending to Acjanaco Pass at 3,600 meters, the official entrance to Manu National Park. From this dramatic ridge, take in sweeping views of the Amazon Basin, where the Andes melt into the rainforest. This is a key transition zone for biodiversity and a photographer’s dream.
Accommodation: Ensuite room at Rainforest Lodge in Pilcopata Arrive at your jungle lodge in Pilcopata and settle into comfortable accommodations surrounded by nature. Enjoy a typical Amazonian dinner and relax after a full day of travel and cultural discovery.

Start the day with a traditional Amazonian breakfast. Then, continue your journey via overland transport toward the edge of the lowland rainforest.
Upon reaching the nearby port town, you’ll connect with a local transfer service (operated by authorized community providers) that brings you deeper into the forest to your next lodge. After check-in, enjoy a guided walk through jungle trails where you’ll learn about medicinal plants, spot native birds, monkeys, and other wildlife. Lunch will be served at the lodge, followed by leisure time to rest or enjoy the natural surroundings. Later in the afternoon, take part in a peaceful floating experience on the river using a traditional wooden raft (conditions permitting), ideal for birdwatching and photography. In the evening, an optional guided night walk offers the chance to encounter nocturnal animals, including caimans and frogs.

5.00These 3 days in the Amazon was the perfect adventure to share with my friends. Everything was smooth, well organized, and full of amazing wildlife moments from start to finish. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience fun for all of us. The food was great, the lodge was comfortable, and we always felt safe and taken care of. If you want a short but incredible Amazon experience with friends, this tour is absolutely worth it.

5.00Abel and his team were great, the made this a special and a memorable trip. I loved the ambience of lodges I stayed at, extremely cozy and amidst the woods. The boat ride was spectacular where i had an opportunity to spot many wild animals.

5.00I was incredibly impressed by my tour guide, Synmon. He grew up in Manu jungle and was extremely knwledgable. I went in with no expectations as I know the wildlife could be hard to spot. After all, they can hear us coming before we would see them. Symon has eagle eyes and could spot them from far distances. He used a telescope to show me the animals, so if you are not carrying a pair of binoculars, no need to wThe food was very delicious too. I was able to see many animals. Symon took me on tours of the jungle and we got to see the clay eating parrots. Inner tubing down the river is an experience I will never forget in my life. Symon was so friendly and kind, he had a great hospitality. I felt like I was he was not a tour guide, but a friend. He has a great sense of humor. His knowledge about the plants and their uses was amazing. The lodges were cozy and comfortable. I would highly recommend this tour to everyone travelling to Peru. No other guide would be as knowledgable as Symon. He took me deep into the jungle which I assume most guides won´t. If i could give more than five starts I would happily do.

A local guy from the regios who knows every sound of birds and was simply easier to spot birds and animals with him. 5.00Abel and his team of guides indeedd tok a great effort in making this the best of our honeymoon trip to South America. Carlos was our guide and in my whole life i never came across such a wonderful guide. He is a local and is well aware of the animals, birds and plants. This was a joyful and a learning trip.

5.00This was a very well organised trip to the Amazon part of Peru. Palotoa did meet and fulfilled every single thing they mentioned while booking this tour. Carlos, our guide was a gem of a person with a fountain of knowledge and patience. The moment we spotted a bird, he was quick to explain their breed and give us a detail. We enjoyted a lot.
