5.00We had an amazing trip into the dessert with Salah. So happy that we booked this adventure! Roads were rough (more than our rental car would ever have managed) and we definitely feeld "off the beaten track", but we were all the time completely safe with Salah who is very experienced in the area.

5.00Great experience. Very good driver (had to help some other drivers stuck on the mud due to heavy rain). Took us through desert lakes, dried out river beds and stayed in 2 different camps with sunsets over the desert snowboarding down dunes and camel ride!

5.00Absolutely fantastic 3-day tour over New Year's Eve with Salah! We are completely thrilled by the incredible hospitality of his family. The tour was perfectly organized and an absolute highlight. Salah took us through breathtaking landscapes (stone desert, volcanic landscapes, sand dunes) and showed us ancient stone paintings as well as fossils. The picnics, barbecue and sand-baked bread were super delicious and lovingly prepared. The camel ride and the music around the campfire completed the experience. Salah is a very pleasant, calm and attentive guide who took care of everything perfectly. We were warmly welcomed into his family, were allowed to arrive the night before and were even cooked. This tour was the absolute blast! We can highly recommend Salah and would book with him again at any time.

5.00Our family had a wonderful experience with Salah. The drive through the moonscape, dried up lake and other wonderful landscapes was a long but memorable experience. The food that he conjured up over an open fire was the best of the entire trip, according to all of us. Also tea made with devotion. We felt that we were well taken care of. Christmas in desert camp was an experience we will never forget!

5.00Everything went incredibly smoothly and clearly right from the very first messages. We received answers to all our questions very quickly, which made us confident that we wanted to take the three-day trip specifically with Trip Desert Foum Zguid. We met Salah and even his family the evening before the trip and shared a wonderful dinner together. Throughout the entire three-day trip, Salah was extremely friendly and tirelessly answered all of our and our children’s questions. For the kids, Salah was definitely the most memorable part of the whole adventure. During the journey, he also found fossils for us, showed us a herd of gazelles, wild donkeys, and we even spotted jackal tracks. Crossing Lake Iriki was also a truly unique experience. Salah prepared us delicious lunches on the way to Erg Chegaga and during the camel ride. It’s impressive how he managed to create restaurant-quality meals over an open fire under the shade of acacia trees. The bread baked in the sand using the campfire was another fantastic experience. I warmly recommend Trip Desert Foum Zguid and Salah if you want an excellent guide, driver, and master chef for your Erg Chegaga adventure.
