Day1: We will leave Accra at an agreed time and explore Shai Hills National Park where we will Have the pleasure to See some of the Wildlife species and also enjoy the beautiful atmosphere.

Tafi Atome Monkey Sanctuary And Cultural Village

Next stop will be at the monkey sanctuary at the Tafi Atome monkey Sanctuary to visit the community with the monkeys. The monkeys are probably the friendliest monkeys in the world, they are very gentle and all you need is just get bananas and you are sorted

Wli Waterfalls

Travelers will hike to the wli waterfall (the highest water falls in West Africa) You will also see the Bat ecology and can take beautiful pictures. Travelers will also have the opportunity to experience cocoa plantation and to learn more about cocoa products, other than just the usual chocolate known to the ordinary public Travelers can do the mountain hike of Mountain Afadjato or you just wanna seat back and enjoy the overall beauty of the Volta Region. We aim to have lunch at the Volta lake and get back to the city before nigh falls.

Akosombo

We will arrive in Akosombo for a relaxing lunch at the beautiful The Royal Senchi Hotel & Resort by the lakeside. After lunch, we will proceed to check in and unwind at the resort. For those interested, you can enjoy a peaceful kayaking experience on the Volta River as the day winds down an unforgettable way to take in the sunset and the serene surroundings.

Akosombo

After breakfast, embark on a relaxing boat cruise on Lake Volta, the largest man made lake in the world. Cruise across its serene waters to a nearby village for an immersive community experience, where you will walk through a vibrant fishing community and witness how the day’s catch is processed and brought to market. It’s a truly unique and authentic.

After departing Akosombo, we will make an important cultural stop at the Cedi Beads Industry. Here, you will learn about the fascinating process of transforming recycled glass into beautiful beads, a tradition deeply rooted in Ghanaian heritage. These beads are not just decorative they hold cultural significance and have been worn by Ghanaian kings and queens during special ceremonies and important occasions. You will also have the opportunity to see artisans at work and even try your hand at parts of the bead making process.
