This was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life! The hike itself wasn’t too hard, but the altitude was an added challenge. Would recommend bringing lots of medicine to help with headaches and/or nausea or other stomach issues. The logistics of hiking and camping are all taken care of for you. All you have to focus on is walking! The views were absolutely insane- unlike anything i’ve ever seen! My guide, Juanito was simply fantastic. He took amazing pictures of us, gave lots of insight about where we were, and took care of us when our altitude sickness started. The chefs were awesome. We had delicious meals and never had to worry about getting enough food. Would absolutely recommend!

This trek was amazing! It was certainly the hardest thing I have ever done, but the views make the effort worth it. Our guide Juanito was wonderful! He took such great of me and my trekking partner. I feel so blessed that I was able to experience the beauty of Peru in such a unique way.

The tour is challenging but well organized. Equipment, food and guides were very good! Big compliments to our guide Percy, our chef Edgar and our local Porter Raimondo. The tour is definitely recommended, only you have to be aware of the altitude (< 4000m and up to over 5000m). Therefore, you should bring an appropriate fitness level.

I joined the 3-day trek through Ausangate, Rainbow Mountain, and the Red Valley, and I’m still struggling to put into words how incredible it was. From the very first moment, I felt in good hands thanks to our guide, Juan, who not only knows every trail and every story of the region but also knows exactly how to motivate you when the path gets tough. Sleeping in the middle of the mountains, surrounded by nothing but stars and silence, was something truly unique. Each view along the trek seemed to outshine the last: turquoise lakes, massive glaciers, wide valleys, and the majestic Ausangate always in the background. Reaching Rainbow Mountain was thrilling, but what really blew me away was the Red Valley… a landscape that honestly feels like stepping onto another planet. The food was delicious (I still think about those hot soups after a long day of hiking) and the campsites were surprisingly comfortable for being out in the wild. I’m leaving with a full heart, so many photos, and memories I will treasure forever. Thank you, Juan, for guiding us with so much patience and for sharing your love for these mountains.

Great experience!!! We would have loved to continue the adventure longer!! The whole team was great, Juan our guide, David our chef and Porfirio our mule!! The landscapes were beautiful, our guide was able to share with us many stories and answer all our questions. We ate like kings, and the camp was top!! Do not hesitate, the experience is well worth it!!
