After breakfast, our professional guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha for a direct drive to the Serengeti for an amazing game drive exploring large herds of wildebeests and other wildlife including the Big Five. You will do a short stop for a hot lunch before continuing with your spectacular game drive. On this day, you will get a chance to have a full-day game drive. After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro for the game drive in Ngorongoro Crater and in the afternoon, drive to the Airport/Hotel for drop-off. The jewel in Ngorongoro crown is a deep, volcanic crater, the largest unflooded and unbroken caldera in the world. About 20kms across, 600 meters deep and 300 sq kms in area, the Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtaking natural wonder. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually be seen here.
