What To Expect

Day 1

Transfer from Kigali to Bwindi

Accommodations

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Breakfast and check out for a Kigali City tour starting off with Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre visit. Thereafter drive to the northern Rwanda for a visit of the Twin Lakes of Burera and Ruhondo. Enjoy a sumptuous lake fish lunch here and head to the view point where you will be able to see the two lakes and the entire beautiful scenery of the Five Volcanic Mountains stretching all the way to Congo DRC borders. The three Countries: - Rwanda, Uganda and Congo DRC meet at the tip of the Sabyinyo peak. Take nice" photos and continue on to Cyanika border and cross over to Uganda. Drive through Kisoro town arriving in Bwindi in afternoon you will check into your lodge, and in the evening, you will go for Batwa Cultural Visit. Dinner and overnight at.

Day 2

Gorilla trek and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

Overnight at Bunyonyi Safari Resort

You will have an early breakfast and be driven to the Park Headquarters for a briefing about what to do and not do while on a Gorilla trek. After the briefing, you will set for the trekking in very thick vegetation. Trekking gorillas in Bwindi- Uganda is quite challenging as it involves moving over rugged terrain of steep slopes and valleys. The jungle is very lively with rich forest sounds. The trek ranges between 2 – 8 hours and you have one hour to stay with the Gorillas once sited. We will transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, this lake is said to be one of the most beautiful places in western Uganda. It is the second deepest lake in Africa [900 meters deep] and also one of the few places in the country where it is considered safe to swim as it is bilharzias free. Dinner and overnight will be at.

Day 3

Boat ride and transfer back to Kigali

Kigali

After breakfast you go for a boat ride on this Lake, touring different islands and different view scenic points, afterwards we drive back to Kigali City, via Katuna border, another border point between Rwanda and Uganda, arriving in evening to catch your late evening departure flight.

I did Kibale chimps and Bwindi gorilla and a bonus for as passing through Queen Elizabeth park! The tour was amazing! Very professional, punctual and an amazing experience all round!

What a wonderful trip, we had an amazing time in Rwanda, we did our gorilla trip to volcanoes. This was so credible, seeing this place is great, with different types of monkeys, birds. Seeing gorillas in this forest, is so wonderful, these gorillas are very breath taking, seeing them doing there daily activities is great and wonderful. Seeing the rolling hills and green vegetations, and the busy towns, and welcome people, Our accommodation was really so amazing that it was it next to the national park which makes be close to nature. Our guide Godwin was so great and well informed and organized, We really thank you guys for the amazing arrangements and wonderful experience to Rwanda, so amazing.

It was just great. I haven't had this much fun in quite a long time. Their operations manager Ruth actually ensured that we where treated in complete hospitality and courtesy. The tour guide Sam,eddy and godwin actually ensured of our conmplete safety and believe me I have never felt more safer. Thanks for the memories

Went to have some holidays at this great park because of my love for the African Continent and wildlife.The manager Mad. Ruth if I remember her name clearly is just one of a kind.She received us with all the pleasure together with some great guides who took me and my friends around.I was able to know more about Gorillas and how they relate to mankind too.
