Great experience worth doing despite a few minor inconveniences. Positives: spend the night in Sahara desert in a tent (make sure to book ‘luxury’ option for more comfort, unless you want to potentially share room with strangers), a variety of unique experiences (such as visiting a movie studio, taking pics with monkeys in the forest), and sceneries (forests, mountains, canyon, etc.). We had an amazing driver, Mohamed, who made our experience very memorable by providing context of each place we visited and highlighted interesting points about the villages or regions we are passing by. Negatives: these were relatively minor and not a big deal but good to be aware - ‘luxury’ option is not really Luxury for western standards as it is basic (you get more privacy so don’t share room or bathroom with anyone else), Restaurants we stopped by for lunch were overpriced and food was mediocre, desert tent was very cold in the winter and no heating but they have plenty of blankets though I was still cold and many others reported being cold as well. Overall, I would strongly recommend 3D2N one-way tour from Fes to Marrakech or vice versa, vs only going to/from Fes for 2D1N.

The landscape is unique and we love Sahara desert in particular, wish we could have more time there (we only had one night). Our driver Ome, also the guide, took us to our destination safe and sound. However, communication is rather insufficient, eg we were not told about the meet up time for every stop, not told about the time to meet up on the next day morning so we were confused as in what time to wake up and get prepared, had to text and ask the guide and staff at the hotel to confirm that. Another thing quite disappointing is that we did not get to do sandboarding which was supposed to be included (not because of weather). When we got to the desert, we took some pictures but staff of whoever responsible did not prepare any sandboard with them. The next day morning, we asked about the sand board activity, Ome seemed surprised that we didn’t do that. I told him no one offered that, then he simply said because the sunset was early so we didnt have the time. But the fact was, we spent an hour on the dunes with the sun still up, all that time nothing was offered, later on we were left alone in the desert for about 30 mins twisting for the camel to come back and pick us up to the hotel. We found it deceiving as when sandboarding was advertised, the organiser should at least make an effort (provide a sand board let the customer know in advance if it’s not possible instead of leaving us confused) The accommodations were really nice though with great service (we booked luxury package). Only thing to say is that the water turned cold in the middle of a shower (about 5-10 mins in) which is understandable in a desert but I wish someone warn me that so I will take a shorter shower.

Wauwww, didn’t know what to expect but honestly a very good trip!! A lot of cool things to see and our driver Tarik was very nice and helpful. He spoke good English and explained everything that you want to know. He also had good music in the van😁 The vans come with AC and also the tents in the desert were actually goood quality to sleep in! I would recommend this tour for sure!!!

Amazing experience, well organized. The tour allow to see beautiful places other than the desert. Our guide, Omar is a great person, always smiling, funny and kind. Also the people work in the desert tent camp are fantastic, you feel as at home. We really enjoyed!

I started my Morocco journey right with this tour and I couldn't choose better. Our driver Brahim was perfect, took us to all the places mentioned in a tour description, even more. He was sharing interesting facts with us, made stops for photos along the way and always was there for us. I enjoyed the drive and loved the fact, we were going from Fes and could see more of the country's landscape. Apart from the quick photo, coffee and lunch stops we had a guided tour in two cities, both local guides were awesome. Standard tent in the desert was simple, but fully sufficient for me, just one bed and shared bathroom outside. This can be a disadvantage during the winter period, the morning was pretty cold at the end of March.
