Fabulous way to travel between Puno and Cusco

5.00We had to work hard to escape the Bolivian problems. But we got to Puno in time and we were two of the 13 passengers to board this 17 carriage train - met by the manager and some of the 30 crew we settled in to some pre lunch drinks - lunch was everything you could expect from this luxury train journey. Exhibitions of Peruvian cooking and making pisco sour in the afternoon before evening meal of equal Michelin standard. Music playing through our in the two main bars as we passed fantastic scenery on the way to Cusco. Do it - it is a lifetime experience.
