Discover the largest vineyard of French white wines, the vineyard of Nantes and its multiple appellations and rare grape varieties. Your guide is a passionate character living in the heart of the vineyard and more particularly in the appellation Muscadet Sèvre et Maine. It will make you discover unusual places along the river or in the hills overlooking the Loire. You will participate in a tasting in the vineyards and you will end your excursion in a winery with the winemaker for a visit and tastings.

Booked a half day wine tour with Franck from Nantes. Franck kindly picked us up near our accommodation. He drove in his immaculate Jeep through the beautiful countryside of the Loire Valley. Franck told us the history of some of towns we passed, Clisson a charming town comes to mind. We stopped in a vineyard near a Windmill and we sampled one of the wines Franck had bought. Franck has an outstanding knowledge of wine and explained the farming methods involved. We then visited a winery and sampled various wines which was great fun and very informative. We purchased a few wines to take back to our apartment. We thoroughly enjoyed Franck’s company and will look forward to him bringing a lorry load of wine to Au Pays de Galles and Irlande!!! FABULOUS vineyard tour and wine tasting with Frank. He is so knowledgeable, passionate and friendly. His English is excellent. We stopped off in two vineyards (the second one had an old windmill where we stopped for a tasting). We then went on to a winery where we saw the press machines and fermentation process and onwards to taste several wines. It was so informative and enjoyable, and great value for the half day trip.

Franck was a fabulous guide! He is very knowledgeable and organized without being intrusive during our day with him. We sampled about twenty wines at various locations and had a lovely lunch together. We wouldn’t change a thing about our day which started at 9:15 and ended at 5:45. Book a tour - you won’t retreat it.

A huge thank you to Frank for a fabulous afternoon. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience which gave us a great insight into how Muscadet is produced. We loved visiting the pretty villages and very much enjoyed tasting the delicious wines chez Raphael Ludeau. We would thoroughly recommend the excursion.

Visitors who want to know the vineyards of the Nantes country, this solution is highly recommended. For 4 hours, you will crisscross the region with a clear explanation of the different varieties with a stop in a cellar for visit and tasting. The guide is very friendly

We had a half day tour together with Franck in the vineyards of Nantes. It was informative, interesting and all together a great experience even though the weather wasn't showing its best sides. Franck is a great tourguide and has great knowledge about both the area and about wine. I would definitely recommend doing this if you plan to visit the area!

Franck was a wonderful, friendly, funny tour guide, and we really enjoyed our half day with him. He is a true expert on the region, and the region is absolutely beautiful! Highly recommend!

We thought we were going on a tour to learn about the Muscadet wine and how it was grown and the process to put it into a bottle on our table. Franck did all of this and gave us a wonderful insight into the history of the region. We were shown how,why and where the grapes are grown, an insight into the terrior here and given a comprehensive tasting at a leading vineyard . Great English for those of us who have very little French-highly recommended. Lovely man. Thank you Franck Peter and Toni Australia

We booked this tour at very short notice but it was literally the best thing we did during our brief stay. Franck the tour guide was phenomenal. He provided non-stop insights, facts and knowledge about both the wine and the history of Nantes and the region. We were also collected on a hot day so the space and comfort of his Mercedes van was also very much appreciated. Wine wise- Franck provided a tasting amongst the vines in a remote location as well as a small accompaniment. Later on we went for a historical tour of a larger vineyard and tasted their wines there. Highly recommended if you’re in the region
