Under the guidance of our experienced PADI instructors, you'll delve into the fundamentals of scuba diving, including dive physics, equipment usage, and safety procedures. Put your knowledge into action as you refine your skills in our dedicated confined water area.

Once you feel confident, it's time to venture into the open water. Dive into the crystal-clear turquoise waters of Punta Cana's renowned dive sites. Experience the wonder of vibrant coral reefs teeming with tropical fish, encounter fascinating marine species, and navigate captivating underwater landscapes.

Throughout the course, our instructors will provide personalized attention and guidance to ensure your safety and enjoyment. By the end of the program, you'll have mastered the necessary skills and knowledge.

What To Expect

This is a 3-day diving course which will allow you to dive down to a maximum of 18 meters / 60 feet anywhere in the world. The course consists of 3 sections – online dive theory, confined swimming pool sessions and 4 Open Water dives.

Highly recommended. getting into action almost immediately made me feel really focus and safe because all the theory from PADI rules were really clearly explain and experienced. Franklin and Katherine definitely made me fall in love with scuba diving. Thanks to both of them and all his crew.

4 x dives, in 2 days, 2 different sites, I was getting my open water padi test done , during my dives , 1 site was a ship wreckage - the monica wrek, very good 👍 the over was reef diving also very nice

Absolutely recommend Grand Bay of the Sea. My son and I completed our open water PADI and then went onto the advanced course. The instructors are legends, we felt supported all the way and their teaching alongside the PADI online work, made us competent divers. There were both novice and experienced divers and you can do fun dives, aswell as certification dives. The views were simply spectacular, the visibility was amazing and to top it off the swim with reef-sharks in open waters was phenomenal!! I couldn’t recommend them enough. Massive shoutout to Jorge and Franklin, amazing teachers and just great people in general! Communication for pickup times and what we needed to do was also above and beyond. There’s is also a lovely little beach restaurant/bar next door for good and drink, which was absolutely delish!

The instructor (Kelvin) and the manager (Franklin) are amazing I had never dived before and they made sure the went through everything thoroughly and made sure I was comfortable and understood everything they made it so easy to learn and fall in love with diving I couldn’t recommend this place enough. Thank you so much !

Totally recommand the place. Such a great experience with these guys! Gilberto, Franklin and George were great teachers and such good people. They accommodated us, helped us with the transports and were easy to contact when we had questions. I did my Advanced Open Water certification with them in July and everything went smoothly. They were professional throughout the whole process of our learning. I did my first deep dive with black tip sharks! It was amazing! The Monica’s shipwreck was a great dive too. Overall, they were perfect and the dive shop has such a good vibe! Would recommand to anybody who wants to learn diving or just enjoy the dive sites in Punta Cana. - Janie and Charlot, Canada
