I took this option because my parents, both elderly, speak only Spanish. The service is punctual at first. All very well on the first day of the tour, the second day we left the hotel late for Olympia without any explanation, no problem because we were on vacation. All very well on the tour, until we arrived at the Museum of Olympia, we were given a hurried tour of that museum and the guide gave ten minutes to meet, when we left there were neither people nor guide. We went to the selected place and the bus was gone, then the same staff of Olympia directed us to the only option that they told us our bus could be and that we did, Olympia is very large and therefore it is important to be close to the tourists. I sent an email to the agency after an hour of waiting and was finally contacted by the guide, who came looking for us furious along with the driver, an ordinary man, almost calling my parents subnormal. In the end, the reason we were left is because the company has agreements with restaurants and shops that there is a rush to go and pressure the tourist to use. The rush to one of these places led to abandonment. If I hadn't e-mailed, I think I'd still be in Olympia waiting, my parents dehydrated in the inclement sun. In 35 years I've been traveling the world and taking tours, the first time I've been left. If you can take a tour in English or with a recommended company, do so. No one keeps them from doing their business with allied companies, but tour and tourists are the priority. It was a very uncomfortable episode, the next day a couple got lost in Delphi and the hysterical guide too. The content of the tour and the knowledge of the guide are useless if there is no quality attention to the tourist, because low cost is not.

The visit to the Olympian srchaeological site was very short. D After the explanations you did NOT leave an hour to walk or take pictures quietly of the site which is huge. It would also change having breakfast and lunch included and not dinner. It ties you up. The food didn't come at the price but you're taken to secluded restaurants in the middle of the road and you don't have options to choose from. Of course, the guide, Elena, was the best. Your knowledge and way of explaining them is unbeatable! It has a lot of tables and it's rating.

It is a shame that despite the excellent guide Helena Teodorakis, it ended very badly, as we were left with the whole family (4) somewhere in the city unknown to me (with all the bags) instead of taking us to the hotel, which was the contract.

Amazing this experience by classical Greece.. we are enjoying a lot on our honeymoon in Greece and this for us has been an unforgettable trip thanks to our beloved guide Fanery, who made us travel to the past and live it as if we were in that time. With his attention and dedication to the big and small details he made the group we formed feel like we were family. Thanks especially to Fanery and Arty Tours. Juanki and Carmen
