Along with Shibuya and Ikebukuro, Shinjuku is one of Tokyo's most popular entertainment districts, and a popular area among foreigners. Shinjuku has a convenient image, with numerous department stores, huge electronics retailers, and fashion buildings, but if you walk a little further you'll find a new side to it that is lush and green.
