Great guide - thanks Nicola. Communication re the tour and meeting place all fantastic. Kotor is small and so not too much walking and therefore more eating and drinking. A small group of us and lovely to meet new people and try food directly from the farmers market. Highly recommended but imagine it is very busy in summer hence good to get off the street and sit and learn about Montenegro and sample the food.

Bogdan did a great job showing us around Kotor, experiencing the food delights of his hometown. Sampling olives, meats, and cheeses was just the beginning. Lunch was amazing with mussels and black ink risotto the highlight. Ending with desert was the icing on the cake. Definitely recommended for something different

Lots of yummy food. Bogdan, the guide, was interesting and good company. It was raining during a lot of the tour, but that didn't affect the enjoyment, as we managed to get to go to sheltered places. Don't eat much breakfast before you go.

An excellent tour. Nico was full of information about Kotor and life in Montenegro. He took us on an interesting walk around the town and we greatly enjoyed the good quality food we sampled at the various stops.

This tour was ok but really not great. I was embarrassed because I had recommended it to lots of people and they hated it! My husband and I didn’t hate it but it was a little bit of a disappointment. Mainly the food selection. Yes we wanted to try local things but it was a little too much fishy stuff… and we love seafood. Maybe it was the prep but the last stop was not good at all. The ink risotto was awful, and mussels just average. Some of the group were not fond of seafood and it left them with nothing to eat. Overall I wouldn’t do it again but it wasn’t horrible either:). I guess we had high expectations since it said Rick Steves Recommended.

We were very impressed with our guide (Jelina?). She was extremely personable and knowledgeable. We were on a tight schedule and she accommodated that without missing anything. We laughed and enjoyed her company. We consider her our friend from Kotor.

The food is not great. The desert was good. The stores were closed because it was Sunday. Tour guide was good.
