Misty was our tour guide for the private tour in Canyon De Chelly. The stories she told of the Dine' people from their perspective was enlightening and fascinating. The tour included the stone architectural ruins of brilliant engineers and craftsmen from the canyon floor. We particularly appreciate Misty sharing the history of the Dine' people and Kit Carson from 1864 and pointing out actual cannon ball and Gatling gun scars on the canyon walls. The numerous rock art images she showed us were spectacular! From our perspective, it was a glimpse back in time. This was the first private tour we participated in, and we could not have been more pleased. We felt like this private tour was much more personal than the common group tour. We highly recommend Canyon De Chelly Tours and Misty was a wonderful guide. It is well worth both your time and your money! Lynne and Brian

We had a marvelous experience exploring the canyons with our guide Richard. Saw petroglyphs and ancient Native American cliff dwellings we never would have seen without a guide. We learned so much about the history and culture of the canyon. A spectacular morning adventure!

Outstanding tour that gave us deep insight into the history of the canyons and Navajo culture. Richard was an excellent driver and guide and showed us parts of the canyon we never would have seen. The cliff dwellings and petroglyphs were fascinating. Jeep was extremely comfortable. We would highly recommend doing this tour.

Experiencing Canyon de Chelly is worth every bit of effort required to get there. There’s an aura and energy to the Canyon that is very unique. I had a private tour with Francelia and she was absolutely wonderful. As she enthusiastically answered my questions and explained the history, traditions, and everyday life of today’s residents I felt enveloped in the culture. This tour was a little pricey but worth it. I highly recommend Canyon de Chelly Tours.

We had a truly spectacular experience with Irene. She was friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and at the same time very modest about the knowledge she shared. This was a wonderful opportunity to see nature while exchanging thoughts, ideas, and beliefs, with a special person. I would recommend this tour company and Irene as highly as possible.

My family and I had a wonderful experience using Canyon de Chelly Tours out of Chinle, AZ. The tour guide, Jason Begay, was extremely knowledgeable in the native American history of the Canyon and he knew all the most scenic spots to stop. One of the best tour guides ever! If you haven't been to Canyon de Chelly, I highly recommend the private tours given by this company.

Canyon de Chelly is a fascinating journey through time. Our guide told us many stories about the past and present of the people who called it home. You won’t be disappointed.
