The newspaper Times Uk has included the activity of swimming with the breeds among the top 3 experiences to live in Antigua during a holiday on this island. We offer you the opportunity to live this unique experience in one morning, so you can dedicate the other remaining hours of the day to other activities on the island at your leisure.
The great thing about this experience is that it is suitable for any age group, from 0 to 99 years old. To access the boat you have to take 2 steps, so everyone will be able to access it even those who have mild back or leg problems. The boat ride takes only 8 minutes. Once you arrive you will be able to go down to the sea with a height of 150 cm then you will touch. You will interact with these fantastic animals in their natural habitat, it is not a zoo or a circus, so the whole thing is in full respect for the animal.

We will reach by land the starting point of the boat that in 8 minutes will take us in the middle of the sea where the meeting with the friendly Stingray will take place. Had an amazing experience. Martina our guide was friendly and professional. She guided us carefully on the procedure in the water before the experience started which meant no time was wasted on arrival. Martina took amazing photographs for us enabling us to enjoy touching and feeding the stingrays. Excellent trip.

We had a great time. Not too crowded and experiencing stingrays in the wild that came to be fed is something we will cherish for the rest of our lives. Well organised with all included in our fee, all we had to do was enjoy for the 90 minutes in the water. Marco was a great guide taking us all the way explaining a bit of the Island history and the stingrays and as a plus took some great pictures of us. Grazie mille

Martina and Greta came and picked us up from our resort and were so friendly and nice, and explained the sights on the way to Stingray City. When we were there, everyone on the staff was so friendly and welcoming to us, and we had so much fun. After we got back off the boat, we were able to enjoy some rum punch and talk to the staff more. Martina and Greta brought us back to our resort afterwards, and we are so grateful for the experience! 10/10 would recommend.

We were picked up by Marco, who was very friendly and chatty. In addition to his tour guide duties, he is also a marine biologist, so he gave us some interesting information on manta rays and actually joined the Stingray City crew on the excursion. On arrival we were given a briefing on what to expect, how to walk in the sea in order to not step on a ray and how to safely feed them. We then went out on an open motor boat for about 8 mins to a floating pontoon on a sand bar. I had been feeling a little apprehensive as the manta rays are BIG, but soon relaxed into it and really enjoyed the whole experience. The water is about chest height (I am 5ft 4) you can easily touch the sand. They also supply snorkels and masks, which are all santised and clean. There is an opportunity to take your own photos, but the crew also has a water camera and take photos that you can purchase, either printed or digital pics to your phone. We were there for about an hour, before heading back to shore for a fruit or rum punch. There are showers and loo facilities and a gift shop on site. On our return we were stuck in a lot of traffic as it was Labor Day (local holiday) and there was a carnival taking place, with people spilling out on to the streets. Marco very patiently navigated us an alternative route back to our hotel. We absolutely loved this trip, it has been the highlight of our holiday. A fantastic memory of our Antiguan trip. Just FYI, Laviscount Island where there are giant tortoises you can feed, departs from the same jetty. That is also worth a visit, but we did that on a separate excursion.

This tour was absolutely incredible and was one of our favorite things we did in Antigua! Everyone we met who worked with the tour was so kind and helpful! I need to make sure I give a special shout-out to our tour guide, Marco! He was not only kind and engaging, but is also a brilliant marine biologist! He taught us so much about stingrays, from how to safely interact with them to their biology, history, and even personality! Because of Marco's expertise, we felt safe and confident throughout the experience and had so much fun meeting the stingrays! They are such gentle, beautiful, and all-around awe-inspiring animals. I highly recommend you seize the opportunity to meet them if you find yourself in Antigua! It's not every day one has the opportunity to watch stingrays glide through the water, let alone the opportunity to swim with them, feed them, and interact with them on their own terms in their home. Again, huge thank you to Marco from our whole group for making this such a wonderful experience! Antigua Chiama Italia Tour, you have a great talent on your team in Marco!

Great time, and something I’ll probably never get to do again. It was so cool having these gentle creatures up close and personal. Feeding them, holding them was wonderful! Great underwater shots!

Well worth doing this trip for the stingray experience, half a day away from the resort. Well organised, value for money and an excellent experience topped with a rum punch. Excellent!

Got to go out and hold/feed a Stingray, how often can you say that. It's a little nerve racking but they are so soft and friendly to be around.
