Our guide, Angel, was very nice and well informed about all aspects of the tour. We visited the cathedral and five other churches, along with a religious museum, and he was able to answer all our questions and add a lot of interesting information. We saw a lot of places we would never have seen simply because we didn't know they existed. The three hours just flew by. This was neither our first trip to Panama City nor our first tour, but we learned a lot and so enjoyed our time with Angel. I definitely recommend this 3-hour walking tour around the Casco Antiguo. Just one piece of advice: if you are an early bird, like us, do not sign up for the 8:30 am tour. Although Angel met us on time, etc., a lot of the museums were closed till 10 am. It worked out for us because I am very interested in Church history and architecture, and was delighted to spend lots of time in the Cathedral, people with a more secular orientation might have found it a tad tedious or otherwise inconvenient not to have access to government buildings or museums until 10 am.
