We booked this excursion ourselves instead of with the cruise line and we had the best experience with Captain Lee, Mario and Jason. It was a smaller group just 24 people which made the experience amazing. They are all so kind and really gave us a great tour along with the scheduled events. So worth it!!!

Best way to snorkel and swim with pigs- captain Lee, Mario and Jason were a fabulous team with amazing service and fun vibes. Kept us safe, happy and entertained. Smaller boat let us get closer to great spots for snorkeling even got to see a manatee!

We had the most amazing trip! The snorkeling spots were incredible! No turtles out today but we had a manatee come right up to us! Be aware that the boat is as a lot later than promised so just be flexible but it was well worth the wait!

What an amazing experience! I fed and petted pigs, snorkeled with beautiful fish, and got hugged by a manatee! Perfect weather, comfortable boat, and fun ship captains made the experience extra special! (Just expect them to be on island time when planning your timing 😉)

I don't like to give low reviews, but I wanted to let people know what they might be getting into. The captain and Mario were friendly and great. This review is about the overall logistics of the boat trip. 1) The size of your group determines which boat you're assigned which is understandable in principle. We had a larger group that day, so they switched to a bigger boat. The downside is that the larger boat can't drop you off near the turtles; instead, you have to swim 100+ yards to reach them. We had young kids with us, and they struggled with the distance and didn't get to see anything. I would have preferred visiting the coral reef snorkel location first, then Turtle Cay, so the crowd there would have thinned out by the time we arrived. 2) The worst part of this tour is the return logistics. They drop you off at a dock for lunch which is fine on its own, but then they leave and expect you to take a separate, smaller boat back to the original starting point (Señor Frog's). That alone wouldn't be a dealbreaker, except there was only one small boat running, carrying 12 people at a time. We had to wait through two full trips before we could board, which added over an hour of sitting at the lunch dock. I've never been on a tour where the boat drops you off and doesn't wait for you — this felt like a management failure. The larger boat was clearly rushing off to make its 1 p.m. tour, leaving guests to waste their time. A simple solution would have been arranging taxis, which would have been about a $20 ride. After watching the second boat load up without us, we gave up and called a cab straight back to our hotel. I would probably suggest another tour group or one that goes with a smaller private boat if you are going at a busy time like Spring Break.
