We shall all prepare the meals together using fresh ingredients as we socialize and meet other travelers. Afterward, we shall sit at the dining table and share the food we all made.

5.00Highlight of my trip to Panama. Not only a fun and educational experience, but this was the best meal I had during my stay. Chef Dave not only conducted a master class for all levels of culinary knowledge, but was entertaining and provided insights into the local culture. I was a solo traveler. The class was a mixed group with all ages from various countries.
Chef Mark is the BEST!!

5.00This Afro-Panamanian tour was such a highlight of our trip! If you go, come with questions. There is so much rich history, culture, and storytelling woven into the experience, and it makes it even more meaningful when you engage. And the food was absolutely incredible. There is so much of it, and every bite was delicious! Chef Mark created a truly memorable culinary experience that felt both authentic and thoughtfully curated- every day is a different menu! The juices (pineapple-ginger!) and snacks were also fantastic! This was an immersive cultural experience. Highly, highly recommend!

5.00A great last minute decision. An intimate setting for a cooking class that focuses on AfroPanamanian dishes and cooking styles. I learned a lot about knives, cooking utensils and spices. The dish my group prepared was amazing. Chef Dave is a must experience.

5.00I've only done a couple of cooking classes while traveling before, and they were just OK, but this one was amazing! Dave is super friendly and entertaining, and we learned techniques that we can use for all types of cooking. The activity lasted more than three hours, but didn't feel long at all because it was so much fun. I do recommend having a plan to wash your clothes ASAP afterwards, because we used so much spice that my clothes had a really strong garlic smell (although I was one of the people chopping garlic so maybe that's why).

5.00My experience was excellent. Chef Dave is soo knowledgeable that even as a cook I was enthralled by the many things I thought I knew. The setting was perfect for the activity and the general flow felt very relaxed and felt like a dinner party. It was very hands on, step by step and thorough. Across the globe this has been one of my best and most memorable experiences. Absolutely book this class! I will also add that as a solo traveler I felt very comfortable in the group setting.

5.00This was an amazing experience and Chef’s Dave’s knowledge, skill, personality and attention to each participant was amazing, The meal was great but the atmosphere and engagement made it relaxing, informative and culturally powerful. It was more than a cooking class, it was a class on life, historical journey, transformation and evolution of culinary styles, power of people and purpose. There was an attention to detail in a relaxing atmosphere. You will leave with an impactful experience.
