  Fantastic cruise, everything arranged to perfection and very nice views. Through intercom system you are always reminded of the activities that take place. Staff very friendly and helpful. Buffets are of top quality.

  Excellent cruise. The boat was spacious and did NOT feel crowded. Plenty of excursions to do, also fun to stay on the boat and spa. Diverse & quality food with impeccable service. Our food service team member, Alice, was our favorite person in the ship. She greeted us at every meal & went the extra mile to mage our service excellence. Truly memorable experience.

  Great experience. Rooms were big and comfortable. Great water pressure in showers. Spa was great. Food was great. Etc etc. Only criticism is the coffee. I wish they had a nice espresso machine. They only have drip Vietnamese coffee which is super weak. It wouldn’t take much to invest in a good espresso machine.

  Excellent accommodation, spotless (Executive suite). Food: excellent, good variety and for the vegetarian in the group (me), they went out of way having options. And more than you would want! Staff, both good service and local guides, excellent. The pool - OMG, a highlight - almost hot tub temp, which means one can stay in forever!! Trip was everything listed, and first class service from the waiting lounge before boarding, to the disembarking, where they helped find our private driver. (3 day, 2 night cruise, which I highly recommend; otherwise too rushed to enjoy. We originally booked the Bai Tu Long / Ha Long cruise but not enough signed up for that to run, so we were moved over. Don’t expect to sail without other boats around. Ha Long is a major visitor area).

  An absolutely unforgettable experience. The journey is simply incredible, with breathtaking scenery from start to finish. The food is exceptional, refined and generous. The boat is new, very comfortable, and the heated pool is a real plus to relax at any time. Without hesitation, the best cruise of my life. I recommend 100%.

  We truly enjoyed this cruise. The scenery was beautiful. Never knew that looking at limestones could be this mesmerizing. The ship is fairly new, nice accommodation, room was bigger than we had expected. Service was excellent and food was good. There was really nothing negative. If anything negative, it would be that I wish they had a casino onboard.

  Great cruise, the rooms are very nice, and the overall atmosphere was great. The daily activities were amazing, specially the kayaking portion. Food was also good, staff very attentive to make the experience unique.

  The person, Sea Lion who took care of us, Sea Lion, at the dining room during our 3D2N cruise did an excellent job. We had enjoyed the cruise so much that we felt the cruise was too short. Ha Long Bay is a very beautiful place. Grand Pioneers cruise had arranged many activities including cave visits, kayak or boat rides, visit to a very special nature park called Da Xep park where not too many cruises would go there. Every staff was very professional and friendly throughout our stay.   We had a really lovely trip with the boat and it's facilities exceeding our expectations. The cabins are very spacious and spotlessly clean. Our waiter Dien was very helpful, attentive and friendly, taking excellent care of us at every delicious (and extensive) meal. We enjoyed the kayaking activity but did find the excursions weren't particularly well communicated about what was involved or what we should (or shouldn't) bring. Highly recommended as a way to spoil yourself and get away from the bustle of Hanoi.
