We had the best experience this week with Jerry and John! They were so much fun and amazing hosts! My 6 and 4 year old daughters had the very best experience thanks for Jerry - he snorkeled with them, pointed out dolphins, and was so accommodating. The drinks, the food, the fruit, the hospitality was top notch! We can’t wait to do it again next year and hoping to request the same captains!

Manny and a Rasheed were great captain and crew for our 3 hour tour of snorkeling, iguana island and a ship wreck. Awesome vibes, would very much recommend.

Poor communication by the owners of this outfit. We booked a 9 AM trip (I know they were two options at 9 AM or 1 PM )and another couple did the same. They would not confirm the same day and we had to call them to see if 9 o’clock we were a go. The lady said that they did not have enough people in the morning and they will let us know overnight. We had to send them a message in the morning to find out that they were going to go out 1 PM. I even told them that we did not need a shadow pick up and with drive all they can say was”Yes” with no direction or instructions. I told them we would check in at 12:45 PM because the 1 PM was the time. When we arrived, Abner at the counter was not so friendly to us and told us that they were not going out until 1:30 PM. (online it clearly says 1 PM they should say 1 PM meeting and 1:30 PM takeoff if they want to be clear with other people in the future also it would’ve been nice when I was messaging them that I would be there at 12:45 PM, let me know that they’re not going out till 1:30 PM) During our 40 minute wait I saw him greet a family that apparently rented Charter for the morning (meaning they spent more money), and he was as nice as could be in as pleasant as can be to them. That was a huge turn off and the other couple noticed it also. The kicker here is when we finally left at 1:30 PM. They took the boat all the way to the other end of Grace Bay to pick up additional people for the 1 PM and although I understand, it makes more sense for them to have more guests for each tour but the tour now or run 145 to 4:45 PM. The Captain and Coca were nice, but I would not support this business because he values people supposedly with more money and spending more money over people that booked on TripAdvisor as a group.

I booked the tour through Island Routes Caribbean Adventures at Beaches Resort. If you are looking for a good snorkelling tour, definitely not recommended! A 3 hours tour, you actually only snorkel for 30 mins! Not to mention they didn’t even bring us to Emerald Reef but somewhere closer instead! You would spend most of the time on the boat for meaningless sightseeing. Then you will stop at a tinny little dirty beach for a sandwiches lunch.before heading back to the resort. Totally not worth it!

We booked the Emerald Reef Snorkeling, Iguana Island & Shipwreck Tour advertised as a 3-hour excursion, but our experience fell short. We were scheduled for the 9:00 a.m. tour, arrived early, and were told upon arrival that it was canceled due to low participation—no missed calls or messages despite being told we’d been contacted. We were moved to the 1:00 p.m. tour, which threw off our plans for the day. Once aboard, we weren’t informed that we’d be stopping at Beaches Resort to pick up about 25 guests. We waited nearly 30 minutes while they boarded. The water was rough that day (red flag warning), so snorkeling was moved to a different site known for turtles, not fish. “Safety first,” of course, but the alternate spot was too choppy to safely snorkel, so my husband and I stayed on the boat. Iguana Island was disappointing—the trees have mostly been cut down, so there were very few iguanas. There was no guide or “fascinating facts” as advertised, just a brief stop with food and free time to wander a mostly barren island. The “shipwreck tour” was simply viewing the wreck from a distance. Most of the excursion was a fast, noisy boat ride with extremely loud music—more like a party cruise than the scenic tour described. On the positive side, the captain, Viguel, was friendly and engaged with guests, the complimentary beer and rum punch were appreciated, and the boat itself was very nice with a shaded upper deck. We didn’t return until around 5:10 p.m., about 40 minutes later than advertised, which left us rushing to dinner.

We had such an amazing time! Jean and his crew were great- always getting us new beverages, taking trash and making us comfortable on the boat. They were a lot of fun in the water and kept us safe! They were also very informative about the ship wreck and island! We had a great time and would do it again!

Had an awesome time snorkeling with my wife, the crew, Captain Veguel, Rushane, Bryson and Jean, that took Us out was awesome and very knowledgeable. They were awesome from playing great songs, letting the younger children drive the boat in the open water, getting us drinks whenever we needed, providing food. Worth every penny
